Nobody has an OF to escape poverty, they do it because it is easy money and an ego boost. Despite the very homophobic president, Brazilian society is much more accepting of gay people than it ever was. The male lead of the most popular tv show in the country(a soap opera, very traditional and frauish) is openly dating another man and the female lead is dating a girl.
