DL, what do we know about this Hollywood bitch, wannabe, Hunter Moore?

I watched the first episode last night. What Joe Francis was to video, this guy was to the Internet — with an added dose of sadism.

Typical of the type of person passing through NYC, nothing special. Convinced otherwise.

His ex who inspired his project, nothing special.

Never heard of him/her/it/them.

Well, unless they were celebrities.

I've become officially bored with all of these Netflix docs about psychopaths and con artists. Even if you have dark interests, the subjects themselves are often not very fascinating.

He is almost identical in appearance to this psychopathic kid I knew in high school.

This guy was next level online predator. He hacked people to get the pics in many cases, perhaps most, then doxxed the victims right next to their pics. He also encouraged his stans to make the most vile possible comments. Completely unrepentant psychopath. I found it very interesting.in a revolting sort of way.

He's also supposed to be banned from SM but a Twitter account with the handle iamhuntermoore seems like it's him.

R7 That is not the real Hunter Moore on twitter. He has 3 followers. He cannot be on any of these platforms. It was part of his sentence. He'd be back in jail if that was him. Plus others have said it is not him.

The documentary on Netflix is a waste. Here are the highlights: Hunter Moore founded IsAnyoneUp.com – a website that let users post nude photos of their exes (or anyone they pleased), with Mr. Moore and other users sprinkling in nasty remarks and adding screen grabs of the victims' Facebook accounts.

When people found out they were on the site, many begged him to take down the pics. He was an asshole and would not remove them. He made upwards to $250K off advertisers.

People began complaining to State and Federal authorities (one mother in particular who was able to get her daughter's picture removed after her husband, a lawyer, threatened to sue him civilly). There were no criminal statutes at the time against revenge porn (THERE ARE NOW statutes in 48 States against it -- no Fed Stats though). The Feds eventually pursued Moore under hacking statutes because apparently Moore stole some of the pics by conspiring with another guy to hack email accounts. He was sentenced to 2.5 years but was out in about 1/2 the time.

He is an asshole and not attractive. As others said, he had a small peen and a big mouth. There, I saved you 3 hours of watching the trash on Netflix. Now you can watch something entertaining.

I agree with most of the above comments but I think the Netflix doc is worth a watch. This is how monsters are created and I wonder how many DL people were part of his disgusting "FAMILY". Now I want to learn more about "Anonymous" who finally brought him down.
