He was a total stud. He aimed for a career in movies but it didn't pan out. I think he got into drugs and booze, probably because of Liza.

He was short and hairy OP He was cute, but he was not a sex God. And his last notable credit was Robert Altman's a wedding 1978. He was mostly relegated to appearances in made4tv movies and on TV shows i.e. Police Story, Medical Story, Medical Center, The. Love Boat, Fantasy Island. . . he was basically always a second stringer even on his mom's TV show. And the band he formed as a teen Dino, Desi and Billy was a short-lived basically pop group

He hit the wall hard. I used to see him out and about when he lived in LA- the guy looked terminally depressed. And he hated when people asked him about ILL.

Desi had a daughter at age 15. Her name is Julia. Julia's relationship to Desi Jr. was proven by a paternity test in 1991. Desi’s granddaughter, Desiree, died of breast cancer at age 31 in 2020.

I saw them at the Hollywood Bowl when they were in concert with Sonny and Cher in the late 60s. Someone ran up to the stage when Sonny and Cher were on and Cher ran off the stage. Which was dumb because there is a barrier between the stage and the people in the audience. She finally came back when Sonny convinced her she was out of danger. Desi's band sang I'm a fool. I think Dean Martin's son was the best-looking of the trio. Desi looks a lot like his dad. He has the same eyes.

Nothing about this masterpiece? It was released in the U.S., supposedly, but there's no record of anyone having seen it in a theater. This guy specializing in obscure films found it in 2011 and gave it a pretty good review, but later returns to his review and realizes he was too kind:

I can't find the reference, but I read in some article or book that Lucy-Desi suggested that Liza live with them when Judy and Sid were about to take the kids to Europe with them on a trip where Judy was going to be performing for a few months. (Why Liza couldn't stay with Vincente, I don't know.) This offer was made so Liza could stay in school, etc. She was probably around 16 or 17. She did end up living with the Arnaz's for a while. I think it's weird that years later she ended up in a relationship with Desi who was probably 10 or 11 when she lived with them. (I didn't actually look up the ages, just a guess.)

A long time ago I read that Lucy wasn't fond of her son dating Patty Duke (who was about 7 years older than Desi), and was supportive of his relationship with Liza. Sorry I can't remember the source of this, or if it's true. Just remember reading it a long time ago.

Of course, he looks so much physically like his dad. But also I always noticed some standoffish, insecure energy in his face or personality that reminded me of his mom. Lucie always seemed to me to give off the warm, confident, and witty vibe of her dad.

Desi escorted Liza to the LA and NYC premieres of Cabaret (1970). In these photos, he doesn't appear to be short, as someone above claimed. Liza was 5' 4" (taller in heels). Desi (the younger) was 5' 11". That seems about right .
