My gut is that her career is largely fabricated, but that she is smart. And she obviously has the basic qualifications, she just didn’t do all the early career dirty work. She jumped the queue by using Clooney and his PR machine. Again, it’s just a gut impression, but the PR machine came on too strong wrt her career. I don’t believe that she put in five years of billing 80 hour weeks to earn the opportunity for some of the higher profile gig’s attributed to her.

Would be interesting to hear the perspective of someone who graduated with her or worked with her at her first job.
