I did, once. It was terrible.

Loved it. It ushered in the era of super cheesy syndicated TV after it left NBC. Hercules, Xena, Renegade, Cobra, War of the Worlds, Mutant X.

It runs 24-7 on Pluto TV.

Why would anyone lie about whether they watched it or not? I watched it for several years - mostly just had it on a background noise while doing homework. It was stupid during the last few seasons.

I was told by one of my (East) Indian employees that all young Indian men watched Baywatch and thought that it was representative of the US. They thought that every young blond American girl was just going to throw themselves at them.

He was pretty big in Germany. I was on a high school trip to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in the late 80s. Of course I watched it for the eye candy. It made this young teen aware of his attraction to hot guys and girls. Seasons 3, 4, 5, were the best.

Too bad the remaster isn't in the original 4:3 aspect ratio. They cropped the top and bottom off to make it 'widescreen'. I HATE when they do that to shows. Thank goodness they didn't that to the Star Trek TNG and TOS HD remasters.
