I agree with OP. Being an eldergay, I had a mustache when I was young as it was all the thing. Over the years, looking back, I was thinking "what were we thinking?" But seeing them on young guys these days is really pleasing.

Untrue about us guys liking to sport goatees, anyway, as far as being able to grow a beard. I still grow an extremely healthy beard everyday but prefer to shave it to a goatee, that I shave around every couple of days or so, because it's a pain in the ass to have to daily shave closely in the area the goatee covers, if your skin is sensitive or nicks easily. I could gate a good parmesan off my beard each day--however, I prefer not to.. ;D
