They could cover other things once in a while.

I'd love to see Garrett with a prime time show. MSNBC needs some new blood in its weeknight lineup, which has gotten stale. Being a prime-time anchor on MSNBC would paint him as a liberal (even if he tried to be "balanced" on his show), making it difficult for him to later make the move back to NBC News. Interesting segment on CBS Sunday Morning on Katy Tur and her fractured relationship with her father who transitioned more than a dozen years ago into a woman. She's never forgiven him for what she deems her/his abusive and irrational behavior when still married married to Katy's mother. But her father, also interviewed, seemed very apologetic and regretful of those times, citing her/his anger was due to confusion and frustration.
