I don’t understand how she’s not being roasted for cultural appropriation. A rich white lady refuses to be seen without grillz, an accessory that is famously tied to the hip hop community. How is that any different than Miley’s twerking and rapping, which was considered offensive back in 2013? Madonna’s continual fetishization of people of color is disturbing. She treats them like accessories. She probably thinks she can get away with it because she has black children, but if anything that just makes it worse.

Remember when she referred to Rocco (who’s white) as “dis nigga,” and was forced to issue a half-hearted apology? She claimed it was a term of endearment. She has some serious issues around race, that she will never be forced to confront because she’s surrounded by sycophants and so completely out of touch.
