Listening to the all of the preliminaries, what I struck with is how she must be crawling in her skin. She's all about action and passion and crossfit, etc. and all of this pedantic legalese is the antithesis of that.
All of her ranting the past couple of days about how it's not "fair" that she has to be accountable to anyone shows that she truly doesn't understand that there are rules for an orderly society. She thinks whoever does the must pull-ups should be declared the winner.
Add to that the fact that her lawyer sounds like a country lawyer who is accustomed to being handed a favorable judgment because he's a good ole boy.

He’s quoting her without giving context in his free speech argument. “Congress must count the votes” or something like that, innocuous enough , but the context that she was engaged in replacing those electors with new electors, subverting the election.

r117, to be fair there's not a lot of case law to cite precedent and the law itself is poorly defined, legally. Plus, no one has been charged with insurrection so we don't even have an example of that. There deserves to be a high bar for removing anyone from the ballot. Still, they had to start somewhere. At least she has been shown as a liar and a fool.

I hope I'm wrong, but I ultimately don't think is will disqualify her - she'll still be able to run - but it may weaken her to the point that the repigs decide to promote someone else and/or maybe even some moderate dem might make some inroads. Her demeanor was interesting during the hearings - on one hand, being defiant & smirking, but also someone coached her well enough to take this shit seriously and you got the sense she knows she's in trouble. It's also possible that there could be blowback from her obvious perjury, but who knows, it's GA & they're FL adjacent, so how knows. Whatever the case, it was enjoyable to see this shrill, smug on the backfoot for once, having to defend her behavior with someone other than "well those mean dems, they did it too!" like some belligerent 4 year old.

How does someone who claims to be into crossfit look so chunky and potato-ish? Her arms look like hams.
