We never caught this series back when it first aired, but we're watching it now and loving it. From what we've seen so far, I would say that Wentworth Miller is the most straight-appearing gay actor that I'm aware of.
When other gay actors take on straight roles, I can't really explain it, but there's almost always something there lurking beneath the surface that seems "gay".
Anyone else agree?

Wentworth Miller aged like a fine wine. He’s handsome and distinguished. He looks even better with age.

I generally take issue to these kinds of discussions, namely "gay face" which I think the popular perspective is wrong.. but if I had to guess, it's because of his bone structure.
similar patterns follow with other gay men... the more out of place they look in the current era, the less passable as homos they become unless they are doing doing something considered "gay" or effeminate by the current culture.
Which, I'd reckon, because most people don't want to envision their grandparents as having had sex, let alone whether or not, they were gay.
of course, though, the standards change every decade or less, so I mean, by centuries or at least 50+ years back.
to women, square to diamond shape faces are typically the most hetero... while rounded to angular are the least.
there's not much studies in regards to males of any sexuality and this perception. . .
evolutionary standpoints would argue they look for greater dichotomy between the sexes for breeding purposes.. so, the more cromagnon, arguable assumptions of higher t, greater fertility success than the fatties and fems.

R3 Funnily enough, I first heard he was gay from one of his fangirls when Prison Break started. Like the OP, I never thought he seemed gay. Good for him for coming out, despite that!
Op-Prison Break is a solid genre show. The second season is particularly good, but it goes off the rails in season 3.

The first season was good but it went downhill very quickly. Would have worked better as a miniseries.

Easy: we made sure there was never cookies on the stage, or anything reminiscing the sweet sweet smell of cookies, therefore no cookie-smelling performances. Must be the power of persuasion, because God knows I smell cookies right now.
