They've released a really creepy photo of The Queen to make her 96th birthday.

[post redacted because linking to dailymail.co.uk clearly indicates that the poster is either a troll or an idiot (probably both, honestly.) Our advice is that you just ignore this poster but whatever you do, don't click on any link to this putrid rag.]

sorry...to "mark" her 96th

by Anonymousreply 1April 20, 2022 10:34 PM

Why have they dressed her as the Grim Reaper?

by Anonymousreply 2April 20, 2022 10:36 PM

MARY!!!! It is only creepy is you have a phobia of horses or old white ladies.

by Anonymousreply 3April 20, 2022 10:36 PM

Who does she love more her horses or Andrew?

by Anonymousreply 4April 20, 2022 10:37 PM

OP, are you one of those fraus who scream about QAnon, the Illuminati and the satanic panic or did you used to be in a cult?

by Anonymousreply 5April 20, 2022 10:38 PM

I can't imagine why, Op 🤔

It's a lovely picture, she looks good there. Wonder when it was taken, given her mobility problems as of late? Although she may be on the mend again…

I have to say, I've never been interested in horses, but the two ponies are really beautiful.

by Anonymousreply 7April 20, 2022 10:41 PM

She looks good. She doesn't look 18 but for 96 not bad at all.

by Anonymousreply 8April 20, 2022 10:43 PM

[quote] Did your dad make you fuck a horse?

Da.

Ja.

by Anonymousreply 9April 20, 2022 10:43 PM

I wouldn't call that photo creepy, but simply bland and uninspiring.

by Anonymousreply 10April 20, 2022 10:51 PM

The Fell horses are so she doesn't fall over. That's sweet.

by Anonymousreply 11April 20, 2022 10:53 PM

She’s prepping the horses for the Apocalypse.

by Anonymousreply 12April 20, 2022 10:54 PM

The horses are about to eat her.

by Anonymousreply 13April 20, 2022 10:55 PM

I thought the same thing, OP. Weird picture to choose.

by Anonymousreply 14April 21, 2022 1:56 AM

I’m getting a Midsommar vibe.

by Anonymousreply 15April 21, 2022 2:09 AM

Tomorrow's headline - "Queen Dies: Trampled by Horses". What a way to go for her!

by Anonymousreply 16April 21, 2022 2:18 AM

Behold a pale horse…

by Anonymousreply 17April 21, 2022 2:20 AM

She is pretending to be Ben Hur.

by Anonymousreply 18April 21, 2022 2:45 AM

I agree, OP. TQ is almost always seen in a pastel colour of some sort. But you know she chose the shade of grey. Could it possibly be half mourning for the Duke of E.?

by Anonymousreply 19April 21, 2022 3:37 AM

Grey? Looks like green to me.

by Anonymousreply 20April 21, 2022 3:45 AM

We found black to be a most becoming colour.

It’s not her official birthday portrait it was commissioned by the Windsor horse show and taken last month. I don’t see what’s even remotely creepy about it.

by Anonymousreply 22April 21, 2022 3:50 AM

She's had a lifelong passion for horses and standing there with those two show stoppers is both lovely and fitting. She's 96 and wore a very English country ensemble. A bit staid but appropriate and that is exactly what the rest of that family should be striving for these days.

by Anonymousreply 23April 21, 2022 3:56 AM

Her face is quite pale and her stoop pronounced.

It's not the most flattering portrait, but she's doing fantastic for a 96 year old dame.

by Anonymousreply 24April 21, 2022 3:58 AM

Those are her horse guards.

by Anonymousreply 25April 21, 2022 3:59 AM

Bitch stole my act.

Odd because both Putin and Kim have also memorably used white horses -- beautiful white horses -- as props for their propaganda photos, too. You'd have thought the Palace would try to avoid the association.

R20, you're right, it's closer to Forest Green.

by Anonymousreply 28April 21, 2022 5:55 AM

Those look like the Budweiser horses, only with white fur.

by Anonymousreply 29April 21, 2022 6:12 AM

[quote] A bit staid but appropriate and that is exactly what the rest of that family should be striving for these days.

That's the way we do things in this country, quietly, with dignity. That's what the rest of the world has always admired us for.

by Anonymousreply 30April 21, 2022 7:26 AM

I think it's lovely, but I think the horses might be there to help her stay standing. Less embarassing than walking sticks or a wheelchair, I suppose. I understand mobility is her biggest problem.

Shame Charles had to give her the covid.

It's symbolic. She's signaling she's Empress of the West in contrast to Putin the evil Emperor of the East. The old girl is coming for him.

by Anonymousreply 35April 21, 2022 2:25 PM

"Queen's arms ripped off by 'spooked' horses in tragic accident".

by Anonymousreply 36April 22, 2022 2:30 AM

She looks calm because she's aware now that Harry's going to protect her from the bad people.

by Anonymousreply 37April 22, 2022 2:30 AM

Well, what do you want? She is no longer an 80 year old spring chicken anymore.

by Anonymousreply 38April 22, 2022 2:33 AM

I have never seen a photo of her staged like that. No hat, purse or pearls. It did seem strange but is quite classic and almost medieval looking. It looks like a painting.

by Anonymousreply 39April 22, 2022 2:41 AM

Inwonder if Kim Jong-un's horse knows he is not in the Good Korea?

by Anonymousreply 40April 22, 2022 3:25 AM

Dogs of course make much better props when you're trying to foster an adorable even cuddly image.

She's 96 years old and she can pose however the fuck she wants!!!

by Anonymousreply 42April 22, 2022 4:15 AM

Where are her ankles?

by Anonymousreply 43April 22, 2022 4:17 AM

[quote]She's 96 years old and she can pose however the fuck she wants!!!

Thank you, gurl.

by Anonymousreply 44April 22, 2022 4:23 AM

She hasn't ridden horses for years because of her doctors' orders that it was just too dangerous. But against their advice she refused to give up riding her Felt ponies in the south and her Shetland ponies in Scotland.

I suspect that now even her pony riding days are over.

The birthday photo is of her with her beloved Felt ponies.

by Anonymousreply 45April 22, 2022 4:42 AM

Just to be alive at 96 is an incredible accomplishment in my book.

by Anonymousreply 46April 22, 2022 4:48 AM

R45 Try to strike up a conversation with HMQ by asking her about her beloved Felt ponies and you're likely to get a polite but withering stare in return.

by Anonymousreply 47April 22, 2022 5:06 AM

You're not supposed to start the conversation with HM but I bet if you asked her about her ponies you'd get a welcoming reply.

by Anonymousreply 48April 22, 2022 5:16 AM

Then you jerk your body like a horny pony would.

by Anonymousreply 49April 22, 2022 5:19 AM

Why the Hell do you think you'd get a withing stare or reply if you asked HM respectfully about something she loves? She'd probably be pleased.

by Anonymousreply 50April 22, 2022 5:20 AM

They're not Felt ponies they're Fell ponies, I think that's what the other poster is getting at. But HM would probs know what you meant.

by Anonymousreply 51April 22, 2022 5:25 AM

Felt ponies vs. Fell ponies. I guess my sister's scrap booking is too much in my mind.

by Anonymousreply 52April 22, 2022 5:29 AM

You are burdened.

by Anonymousreply 53April 22, 2022 5:31 AM

I love the picture, especially in black and white
