Melissa Gilbert has always been horrible.

Is the shitbra story actually true or is that just a DL legend?

Could someone explain the shitbra story for those of us who were not around at the time?

I've been here for 20 years and somehow missed it.

Even more reason to despise that little cunt. She saw the excellent reviews I was getting and then wanted the same for her.

Anderson was too old to play Helen at the time the movie was made. They should have had the master thespians Lindsay and Sidney Greenbush share the role of Helen. They could have handled the dialogue well!

I was asked to play young Helen Keller, but chose to stay focused on my smash hit series instead!

I recall thinking this version of The Miracle Worker was wonderful.

Melissa Gilbert was fine as Helen, and Patty Duke was excellent.
