She was about 80, R4. Most likely she just died of natural causes in her sleep.

She died of heart disease, so it was probably a quick death. It was likely she died in August 2011, 8 months before her remains were found. That was when she last made a phone call. She became a heavy drinker and paranoid late in her life. It sounded like she really made the rounds on the casting couch for even bit parts. Sad.

Whoever got her things could've probably fetched a decent amount for items related to her career. She had enough of a cult following.

She supposedly slept with or dating the following guys: Don Prell, Scott Brady, Ben Cooper, Edd Byrnes, Rory Calhoun, Steve Cochran, Lee Marvin, Ralph Meeker, Cary Grant, and Jim Hutton. And that probably is only a partial list.

Some space heaters are connected to thermostats and will only kick on as needed, and the computer could've been in energy conservation mode. Barring a power outage, they would've kept running. And the heater would've kicked back on after an outage, anyway.
