A prominent, and even "imperfect" nose can be very sexy to me. That doesn't mean some don't look better after a bit of "tip work" or straightening. Making the nose too small, or removing a small bump is usually what leads to poor results from Rhinoplasties.

It's rather silly to think a certain angle, or "type" of nose looks good on everyone. IMHO, a classic Roman, or aquiline nose is beautiful. Isabella Rossellini, and Thomas Middleditch have such sexy, classical noses. Most Jewish men look better to me without a nose job. Same for Turks and Persians. I was cute as a pre-teen (Eastern Euro genes). Even my school photo at 13 was great. And I had also weathered braces and glasses. But, as puberty continued, I developed something between a "Jewish" and Romanesque nose. It wasn't huge, but in my mind, it just looked like I had my father's width and mother's hook, and the combo wasn't flattering. It just looked different. I hated my nose into my 20s. I can recall being 14 or 15 and fastening a clothespin to the bridge, because it was so big and I thought that the DIY "plastic surgery" would have an effect (haha).

As I grew back into my looks in my mid-to-late 20s, I began to really love my nose. I think it helped that my head got bigger, and I gained some height, as well as not comparing myself to others. Of course, it's an easier sell as a guy, as well as being slender.

I see guys in their early 20s getting nose jobs and I think about how it could have been me, and I'm thankful it's not. It takes time to get over the crap society has laid on you and accept your "imperfections." It's a lot cheaper and you don't have to mutilate yourself.

May have been when I'd had it done but you couldn't just 'order' a nose or look, the Dr was very candid about not knowing exactly what it would look like, but he did make it proportionate and was a world of improvement.

Also had an accident with my dog with my glasses on (tiny bit of a dig into the cartilage) and I'd had spoken with aestheticians and Dr's about the liquid rhino-fillers, and one was honest about it being the slippery slope that it is bc it will deflate and you're going to have to continue plumping, eventually to a comical degree. I'd spoken to a surgeon about it, and this guy made me laugh aloud when he said I needed a 40,000.00 reconstructive procedure. I'd think at that price I'd have to have had a total prolapse for that much money. I can live with the nose I have, but still glad I had it altered when I did.
