I always think these things end sadly, but it’s possible they will stay together happily. I worked with an older Jewish lady who married a younger Japanese man. She was a firecracker, couldn’t sit still, always happy and buzzing around. He was quiet and was content just to watch her and support whatever she was doing. They were just crazy about each other, and lived a very happy life until she died. I guess that’s a sad ending, but he was absolutely devoted to her. Very sweet couple, complete opposites but happy. Maybe it was a 10-year difference.
