Years ago (Urbaan Cowboy era) I worked on Madison Ave and John Travolta was outside my building. I watched as a few women approached him for autographs. He couldn’t have been nicer. He would autograph each woman’s paper then look right into her eyes and smile. Very classy. He was a HUGE star then and didn’t have to take the time but he did.

When he was in Welcome Back Kotter I knew someone who worked for ABC TV in New York; he said it was well known at the network that Travolta was bisexual.
