Anyone remember her?
Let's discuss...

I remember her from The Last Woman (1976), Flash Gordon (1981) and Tales of Ordinary Madness (198?) where she has a very large bobby pine inserted into her cheek.

Extremely hot in Flash Gordon and not so much in Oscar. Did a bunch of Italian softcore stuff I've never seen. I don't think I've seen her again since an episode of Babylon 5 where she was Londo's Centauri lover.

She was gorgeous in her day - amazing eyes. She was well-cast as Odette in Swann in Love with Jeremy Irons.

I thought she was Italian

She is. Italian father, Russian mother.

More recently, I remember seeing her in Woody Allen’s “To Rome With Love”. She still looks good.

Saw her in this forgettable film ages ago on Swiss TV. She looked rather frumpy standing next to Capucine, but most did then I suppose.

How was that one, R12? I've seen most of his movies, but there are about eight I haven't, all from the 2000s and 2010s. TRWL has some people I like in it.

YES! I loved her back in the day. She was one sexy, exotic beauty. First saw her in Flash Gordon.

She looks very Russian there.

“To Rome with Love” (a bland, generic title Allen himself hated) is not very good, I’m sorry to report, R14.

She couldn't act and always looked vacuous like Kristen Stewart in most of her movies. But at least she presented pussy, tits, ass to compensate for her lack of acting talent.

Grew up watching her in Flash Gordon and thought she was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. Kept up with her a little here and there out of curiosity, she still looks great. Watched a recent interview a few weeks ago, though, and she has the most gravely smoker's voice now, which aged her about 100 years.

I remember her as I remember Nastassia Kinsky, Isabella Adjani, other europeans beauties of the late 70s / early 80s who were hailed as the second coming of Claudia Cardinale/Katharine Denoove and co, and flopped. rather pathetically. Just flopped. Like turds in a shitter bowl. flop.

This female puppet was under contract to — and pushed by— the Dino De Laurentis Corporation.

Why did she never become a big star?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | December 16, 2022 11:19 PM |
She was Sofia Provolone (!) in John Landis’s “Oscar.” A pretty good comedy that was completely dismissed when it came out because Stallone was in it and he made terrible movies.

Because she mumbled in a tiny breathy, characterless voice.

She has aged really well, and still looks very good for 67 years old:
