I hate and find it sad whenever I see this big tournaments on TV knowing that the best seats are filled with "connections" and/or just wealthy who dont' give a damn about tennis the other 50 weeks of the year, while the TRUE 365 days of the year 24/7 tennis fan can only afford to sit in the rafters! It's like this I suppose in every professional sport, it just REEKS more in tennis because tennis is and always will be seen as a wealthy man's game unlike other pro sports except maybe golf...

as we know that nadal is a freak of nature and all natural (sarcasm) i do wonder who has more endurance 18 year old carlos or soon to be 36 rafa?..
rafa better be worried the next time he plays carlos especially on a fast surface as carlos is improving by leaps and bounds, last year the first time they played carlos won only 3 games on clay, here less than a year later, he goes 3 sets and had many chances in the 3rd set as well..

so last year at this time we were complaining about Djokovic's domination of the tour
This year out of nowhere Nadal has filled the void created by Djokovic's antivaxx-induced absence
does that mean 2023 will be a rebirth of Federer?
the young guys just aren't bringing it ever
I don't fault Alcaraz who is only 18. The other guys at the AO and IW this year should be ashamed for letting Nadal off the hook repeatedly

by Anonymous | reply 40 | March 20, 2022 4:32 AM |
Monica really was that bitch when she first arrived on the tour. I remember Navratilova lost to (teenage) Seles at Rome, 6-0 6-1 or something and said she felt like she'd been hit by a truck. The first woman to really viciously attack a player's serve from the first shot, the delicious sharp-angled winners, the famous match with Capriati at the US Open that changed the way women hit the ball.
To assume she wouldn't have done more had she not been stabbed is frankly ludicrous. Steffi was winning 3-4 slams per year in 88 and 89. She only won three IN TOTAL over the next 3 years from 90-92, and then in 1993 was back to winning three slams per year. Gee, I wonder what happened in 1993 to change things back around for her......... of course Monica was going to continue snatching her wig. It's literally the reason Gunther stabbed her. I think people also forget that she was only 19 and just getting started. I'm not saying she would have won 35 grand slams but it's revisionist history to assume she wasn't almost guaranteed for more success.
Her life after tennis has been a bit strange. She seems to have some kind of orthorexia or eating issues still, and who knows what happened with the billionaire.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | March 20, 2022 5:13 AM |
I like Nadal but I'm not an uber fanboy like some. Hope his fan boys are enjoying his domination. In typical Nadal fashion this probably wont last too long.

by Anonymous | reply 44 | March 20, 2022 6:36 AM |
R41 it's the women's game today. Bash the first ball to the last. Both Seles and Capriati were fantastic ball strikers. Hit the ball flat like a pancake. Lindsay Davenport had a similar stroke.

what is rafa going to be 50 winning french open number #28 and outlasting, outslugging guys young enough to be his sons in 3 out of 5 sets in 7 matches on red clay and no one will bat a eye and wonder privately or outloud?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | March 20, 2022 5:02 PM |
Nadal knows these young guys don't have the resolve that he, Djokovic and Federer had/have. With Federer injured and 40 years old, it's unlikely he'll be coming back to his Slam winning form. And Djokovic with his stupid anti-vaccination stance will miss much of the year. The #1 ranking is wide open for Nadal to snatch, but more importantly he can increase his Slam lead over Djokovic. Had Djokovic been in Australia this year, I don't think Nadal would have won.
Most of these young guys just don't have the mentality to take on someone like Nadal or Djokovic on a consistent basis. Sure Medvedev won the US Open, but he wasn't facing a top form Djokovic, who just couldn't muster his best tennis when he needed it most. I think the pressure of going for the calendar year Grand Slam got to him.
I do think it's going to be the young guys just under Zverev, Tsitsipas and Medvedev who will push Nadal and Djokovic out of the winner's circle. Alcaraz is only going to get better. His shot selection yesterday wasn't that great at times, and he didn't serve as well as he needed to, and still he pushed Nadal. At 18, he'll get more experience and learn. I think Sinner is a possible winner at some point. He's learning the same things as Alcaraz. Auger-Alliassime is another I could see getting there. It's those guys from 18-21 who I think will start winning Slams and kick the Old Guard out.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | March 20, 2022 6:18 PM |
R53, it's totally you cool you aren't a Rafa fan. But you come in here and write the same thing, over and over.
Why don't you read the various articles on his foot injury? It might help you answer the incessant rhetorical questions you posit (oddly enough in a very similar manner to Rafa's own OCD rituals).
I'll break it down quickly: The foot won't really get better. It's a congenital condition. It's called Mueller-Weiss Syndrome. It's never going to "heal" in the way other injuries heal. He has good days and bad days. When it flares up in a serious way? He can't walk, can't play, can't practice. When it's not flaring up? He can play without pain or with little pain.
Doctors have confirmed this.
You are free to still think Rafa is cheating or gaming or whatever. But here's another alternative to ponder.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | March 20, 2022 6:27 PM |
R56, great analysis. I actually don't think Med, Zverev and TsiTsi will do much damage to Nadal and Nole. They'll win a few slams for sure. But I think, baring injury, so will Novak and Rafa. It's going to be Sinner, Alcaraz, and FAA that finally put the nail in the Big 3 (er 2 these days) coffin.
Even Rafa, who is winning, isn't really dominating. He's showing his age big time. He's just smarter on the big points and won't give up no matter what. Novak is the exact same. That's an intangible that Med and Co just don't possess. Which is shocking, frankly.

by Anonymous | reply 59 | March 20, 2022 6:37 PM |
Thanks, R58. What do you think of Sebastien Korda's chances of getting in the Slam winner's circle? I think he could, but when he was up 5-2 in the third and let Nadal off the hook I just shook my head. To me, that was a Tsitsipas-at-the-French moment that makes me worry about his mental ability. He's got the game, though.

by Anonymous | reply 61 | March 20, 2022 6:47 PM |
R57... okay, then so rafa has this condition, that comes and goes... Does he have any inclination when he'll get it and when he won't? I find it hard to believe that someone with this condition can be a world class athlete, AND at his age and wear and tear on his body all these years, AND it this condition doesn't come up let's see 3 weeks in a row in Australia (the tournament before the aussie and the aussie he both won), and now this 1 week of very tough long 3 set matches indian wells tournament, and then the back to back to back tournaments on clay he'll play soon...
SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT "condition/issue" to have! when he starts suddenly defaulting in tournaments with no warning, they'll i'll buy it...
by Anonymous | reply 62 | March 20, 2022 7:11 PM |
It is odd but maybe since he has lived with it for so long he manages it super well or just plays with a lot of pain? Several factors make you think it cant be that bad.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | March 20, 2022 7:15 PM |
R63... i thought this was a new condition of nadal's? with the way he plays, his age, and so much wear and tear, i find it hard to believe he or any world class athlete could play their sport so well with "alot of pain"...
it's like when he was playing wawrinka when stan beat him at the aussie... supposedly rafa hurt his back really bad for stretches in the match, I have no doubt that rafa DID hurt his back during that match, judging by how he served and moved for a time, but here's the thing? if ANYONE hurts their back as much as rafa allegedly did, they couldn't even MOVE AT ALL, much less be playing even 50% world class ability in a sport!..
don't tell me rafa is some super human being who could play world class tennis with such a injury that everyone else, regular joe or pro athlete themselves couldn't move it would be so painful! No, rafa's "injuries" are never truly that bad, it just means he's not 100%, so there is hyperbole in his injuries, if he's 95% healthy he has a MAJOR Injury mindset..
by Anonymous | reply 64 | March 20, 2022 7:21 PM |

R68 he pulled out of Wimby, DC, Canada, Cincinnati, the Open, Shanghai, Paris and the WTC last year because of his foot.

NEWSFLASH: nadal is now 100% cure from his back/shoulder/foot issues, amazingly they just went away after a few minutes of treatment! uh huh!
ULTIMATE bullshitter! when he can't move literally and has to default, then i'll believe he has REAL injuries....
it's one thing to not be at one's best 100% physically, but the way everyone include the ass kissing commentators go on and on and on you would think nadal was 10% and nearly paralyzed!....
i'm sorry if you are really injured you could not play world class tennis! no matter what!.....

R127... right back at you... I can't stand nadal, never have, but at least I admit it... what say you....
once again, nadal's idea of being injured and what everyone else considers being injured are polar opposites.... funny, how Fritz was injured, but did you see him stalling? using gamesmanship? asking for the trainer and doctors TWICE? NO!....did you see taylor started to loudly grunt while he was injured like nadal? did you see taylor started shouting and emoting loudly when he won a point like nadal? no!

the women's draw for Miami is out
Krejcikova has withdrawn again
there are a number of Ukrainian players in qualifying. I really hope, should any of them qualify that they don't fall into the sections with Russian and Belarussian players. That would be so awkward. As it stands now, the top 16 section already has Sabalenka, Sasnovich, Kasatkina and Ukrainians Svitolina and Kostyuk.
the big news is Osaka will face Sharma in rd 1 (should be a straight forward win). The seeded player waiting for the winner is Kerber with Fernandez the other seed. I for one would love a Naomi-Leylah rematch.
Azarenka who left IW in tears is playing Miami. Also her twitter is back and I see on March 2 she posted a response to the invasion (see below)
Winless Kenin has taken another WC and will play Kalinina
Pegula might play Stephens in rd 2
Ostapenko drew some bad luck as she'll face either Anisimova or Rogers

I'm all for new blood, but Fritz does nothing for me. His gangly body, sunken eyes, and droopy mouth. He always looks weirdly like he's in extreme pain but also overdosing on ketamine. There's also nothing at all about his game that really stands out for me, sometimes he goes DTL well, but I liked the way he managed his nerves this week (if only he couldn't have kept it together when he was 2 sets up on "extremely injured" Djokovic at AO 2020!!).
I just hope he can continue to improve and won't be another Jack Sock or Karen Hemsworth Masters winner whose form takes a complete nosedive. Even defending Miami champ Hurkacz hasn't done too well aside from his Wimbledon run. Norrie seems to be handling it okay but it's early days.
by Anonymous | reply 170 | March 21, 2022 7:54 AM |
and Fritz vaults into the top 10 reaching the #8 ranking
it's been a while as far as Americans are concerned. Interestingly he ties both Sock (in 2017) and Isner (in 2018) who also reached the #8 ranking. Fritz has chances to go higher than that as the year progresses though
by Anonymous | reply 171 | March 21, 2022 10:50 AM |
Looks like one of the computers or statisticians at the ATP went on the blink. Fritz's points are overstated by 1,000. Add up the points in his rankings breakdown. He should be at 2875, not 3875. That puts him at #14. Feel free to check my math since I'm in the middle of insomnia here in California.

from his wiki-
Fritz was born the youngest of three boys to Guy Fritz and Kathy May. His mother Kathy May Fritz was a top-10 player, and his father Guy Henry Fritz also played professional tennis and was named US Olympic Development Coach of the Year 2016.[4] He is the great-great-grandson of David May, founder of The May Department Stores Company, which merged with Macy's, and the great-grandson of Morton D. May.[5]
Fritz has two older maternal half-brothers, Chris and Kyle.[6][7]
Fritz grew up with his brothers in Rancho Santa Fe in the San Diego metropolitan area. He attended Torrey Pines High School, where he won the CIF singles title in the San Diego section as a freshman. A few months into his sophomore year, he switched to an online high school to play ITF junior events full-time.[8

interesting early round sections in the men's draw:
possible Medvedev vs. Murray assuming Murray gets by Delbonis
hot but majorly slumping Garin could play Martinez
Basilashvili could possibly play Brooksby in what would be 1 of the biggest contrast of styles ever lol
possible flashy rd3 between Shapovalov vs. Evans
look out for German newcomer Altmaier and that grunt of his...he could face Tsitsipas
Tsonga has returned via protected ranking and will play Thompson, winner to get de Minaur
young gun Musetti vs. Popyrin
DL fave hot match Fucsovics vs. Giron with winner to face Alcaraz
Fritz is in the draw and being a seed he wouldn't have to play before Friday or Saturday
should be entertaining match Korda vs Davidovich Fokina
WC Kyrgios has drawn Mannarino with winner to play Rublev lol
Nakashima vs. Kwon with winner to play Tiafoe

AND because I love Tennis so much, it makes me mad and sad, and it's them the powers that be, and this very reason (besides the lack of great rivalries, a top american champion, etc) that is making this sport even MORE of a "rich mans' game" and a "niche sport" whose popularity is dwindling...

Rafael Nadal is set to be out for four to six weeks after suffering a stress fracture in his rib and will miss the Monte Carlo Masters... despite bravely playing on with the problem in the Indian Wells final
Rafa Nadal has suffered a stress fracture in his rib and will be out for up to six weeks, the Spaniard's team said on Tuesday.
Nadal, the winner of 21 Grand Slam singles titles, complained of a chest issue during his run to the final of the ATP 1000 event in Indian Wells, California last week.
The Spaniard bravely battled on against American Taylor Fritz despite struggling with his rib problem before losing 6-3, 7-6 - and later claimed he had breathing difficulties throughout the match.
He was also suffering from the same issue in his semi-final win over Carlos Alcaraz - being forced to battle to a 6-4 4-6 6-3 - but the three-set victory took its toll and he wasn't able to pull through in the final.
Confirming the news on Twitter, Nadal wrote: 'Hello everyone, I wanted to announce that I have returned to Spain and I immediately went to visit my medical team to do the tests after the Indian Wells final that I played with discomfort.
'As it turns out, I have a stress crack in one of my ribs and will be out for 4-6 weeks. This is not good news and I did not expect this. I am sunk and sad because after the start of the season I have had such a good time.
'I reached a very important part of the year with very good feelings and good results. But hey, I've always had that fighting and overcoming spirit and what I will do is be patient and work hard after my recovery. Once again thank everyone for the support.'
His loss to Fritz ended his 20-match winning streak and after the match he explained how a feeling like a 'needle' hampered his performance and led to breathing issues, before discovering the problem was due to the rib stress fracture.
'When I'm breathing, when I'm moving, it's like a needle all the time inside. I get dizzy a little bit because it's painful. It's a kind of pain that limits me a lot. It's not only about pain, I don't feel very well because it affects my breathing.'
Nadal had already decided not to play in the Miami Open over the next fortnight and will instead have a short break before the clay-court season begins next month.
He said of his first defeat of the year: 'I wanted to make it perfect before clay. It has been very, very, very beautiful. Honestly I am sad because of the way I was not able to compete. It's tough to have these feelings, every day, but in the final it's very, very ugly.'

well remember she left the sport when she was younger and came back

It makes sense looking now that she didnt play the sunshine double. Her reason was cited as physically not being ready which was bs cause she won the Aussie fairly comfortably and it was over month ago before the start of Indian Wells. I'll miss her variety that many women dont have but if the desire isnt there then no reason to keep going. Shes only 25.

A bit stunned about Barty. But also not stunned.
by Anonymous | reply 253 | March 23, 2022 5:24 AM |
I'm sorry but if Henin's sudden retirement was suspicious, Ashleigh Barty's retirement is suspicious. Hopefully, she won't come back on tour in two years, as if everything's A-OK, saying that she feels she can bring more to women's tennis. Like Henin. Ugh!
by Anonymous | reply 254 | March 23, 2022 7:46 AM |
When Henin left I figured she went to film a Haley Joel Osment movie. You never see Justine and Haley in the same place at the same time.
by Anonymous | reply 255 | March 23, 2022 7:58 AM |
R253 Of course he is faking this injury. He was never going to play Miami. He will be back in Madrid acting like he is a fucking hero. I won't be surprised if he takes these few week to take some more steroid so he can win RG.
by Anonymous | reply 256 | March 23, 2022 8:00 AM |
It's not nearly as suspicious as Henin's retirement, lol. She retired one week out from her favourite slam RG, she had won 4 of the last 5 (and three in a row) and specifically mentioned they were not allowed to bring up PED allegations in her press conference and immediately took her name off the rankings. Then she came back exactly one year (silent ban?) and 3 months (the amount of time needed to re-enter doping controls) later.
Barty has always hated the grind of the tour, and actually retired once before. Frequently pulls out of big events. She probably wants to have kids and play golf. Good for her I guess, but it's a loss for the WTA who finally had a consistent #1 who wasn't a complete bitch. Sometimes I wonder if the huge prize money increases have stunted the girls' motivation to keep winning and compete with themselves. None of them seem to actually like playing the sport, entering tournaments is apparently a huge burden, and once they have one good result and rack up the endorsement $$ they tend to flop for a year or two afterward.
by Anonymous | reply 257 | March 23, 2022 8:42 AM |
R256, but he's missing Monte Carlo. A tournament he owns. And Barcelona - his home tourney. And another tourney he owns. So he's going to sacrifice two very possible victories just to rest up. Makes sense. Perfect sense.
Oh, Rafa hates playing in Madrid. The altitude kills his topspin. That's the tourney he'd skip, btw.
Also, he pulled out of Miami two weeks ago. Way before the injury.
Unless it was all a long game?
by Anonymous | reply 258 | March 23, 2022 9:46 AM |
it's a bummer as a couple years ago I was REALLY looking forward to a developing rivalry between Osaka, Barty and Andreescu. Osaka and Barty are 2-2 while both Barty and Osaka are 1-0 against Andreescu
now Barty is gone and Andreescu is AWOL while Osaka has not fully recovered mentally but at least she's playing
by Anonymous | reply 259 | March 23, 2022 10:11 AM |

It's also a bit awkward for Hologic, who just became a title sponsor for the WTA. What must they be thinking when their #1 player and winner of 2 of the last 3 grand slams retires three weeks after they announce the partnership.
by Anonymous | reply 270 | March 23, 2022 5:00 PM |
I think there is a major shift in the mentality of these players. The history of most sports is the best hate to lose and want to win at all costs. Tennis is no different. But even starting as far back as Serena and Venus Williams, you could see they did not have the singular focus that Graf, pre-stabbing Seles, Navratilova, Evert, Billie Jean King, Margaret Court (yes, even that homophobe) had. The past greats wanted to be #1 and win all the titles, with the Slams being their main target, but they wanted to consistently win all titles on the tour and be #1.
Serena and Venus, after winning Slams, came in and out of the tour. They had interests outside of tennis. Then the next generation felt when they achieved their goals, they sort of lacked motivation. They didn't have that killer instinct. You see it on the ATP tour as well. Think about Dominic Thiem who won the 2020 US Open then pretty much went away after that. I think that's a big reason Nadal, Djokovic and Federer continued to collect Slam after Slam. The Big 3 all developed that single-minded focus, probably no one more so than Nadal, but they never really had to face that mentality in the younger generations.
I think the younger generation grew up with terms like work/life balance. They don't want to be all about one thing. Barty seems to have that personality. She was able to focus the last year or so and committed to being away from her home country to do so. I think it took a toll on her. Steffi Graf would have stayed away from Germany for 3 years if it meant winning titles. Not so this younger generation.
It's an interesting shift in perspective and values. I don't know that the single-minded focus of the past is healthy. It seems like every autobiography I've read of past tennis greats touches on this and how they all had to make a lot of sacrifices to achieve their goals. I don't think the younger generation is really willing to make those sacrifices.
by Anonymous | reply 271 | March 23, 2022 5:31 PM |
Steffi Graf would have gnawed out her uterus if it meant winning titles.
by Anonymous | reply 272 | March 23, 2022 5:51 PM |
Steffi Graf went after titles like she had to pay off an abusive Nazi who was holding her mother for ransom.
by Anonymous | reply 273 | March 23, 2022 5:57 PM |
I don't know if it's fair to classify Serena and Venus as the turning point. They had interests outside of tennis, but at her peak Serena feasted on winning like a fucking vampire, and would never throw in the kind of tank jobs and excuses we see from Osaka, Anisimova, Andreescu etc. Hated losing so much she called her own sister a 'fucking bitch' on camera in a GS final, and last year took a wildcard to the Parma 250 in the worst form of her life to try and grind out some clay court wins with her 40 year old body before the French. You would NEVER see Barty or Osaka doing this.
Venus loves the sport like no other, she does Q&As on tennis tips once per week on IG and actually asks fans to send/tag videos of their tennis queries so she can critique them. She's still grinding it out in rehab and the gym trying to come back to play the game she loves at 42 or so. At her last AO she was so injured she needed to use her racquet as a walking cane to stand up. But she still tried to fight through the match and accepted her bagel from Errani. She's even at the current Miami Open with Seles, and attended Newport Beach to watch the mens tennis.
I think the prize money is just too high with this current generation. There is no incentive to try win titles week in and week out, or viciously battle for the #1 ranking like Hingis and Lindsay used to. You win one big tourney or slam, and immediately feel free to slump (Sloane, Thiem, Kenin). They also don't seem to actually care much about the game or sport, I think their parents tried to copy Richard Williams and forced them into it, but it didn't work because the kids actually didn't care. Naomi says she wants to play as few tournaments as possible and her sister said she never enjoyed tennis. Hopefully determined players like Sakkari, Badosa, Swiatek, Alcaraz, Sinner etc. can usher in some passion once more.
by Anonymous | reply 274 | March 23, 2022 6:01 PM |
Say what you will, R274, but Serena and Venus never consistently exhibited the kind of year-in, year-out commitment that the old guard did. They were the first not to have that, then it went WAY downhill from there in the next generations.

What is going on with Kontveit? This loss is mind boggling.
Both coached or formally coached by Dmitry Tursunov. Was he with Kontaveit last night in Miami? Sabalenka feel apart after their split. I wonder if something’s up with him and Kontaveit.

loved how that commentator during the sabalenka match finally said was needed to be said for so long.... she had no plan b, much less a plan c..
loved how he out loud said he couldn't understand why someone like her kept on playing the same way, point after point, game after game while losing and why she couldn't understand to at least try something different, do something different...
it's because she and the other 99% of the players on the wta can't! they all play the same way, slug from the baseline and hope they do it better that day than their opponent and vice versa....
and this goes back as far as sharapova.. losing badly to serena every time, every year, ( so called rivalry) and she never did ANYTHING to change, improve, etc....
by Anonymous | reply 327 | March 25, 2022 1:21 PM |
I was at the tournament yesterday and watched Sabalenka practice before last night’s match. She hit every ball as hard as she possibly could with a grunt/scream with every swing. Every player was hitting as hard as possible during practice but nobody was putting in the emotional and physical energy that Sabalenka was.
By the way, Baoudosa is almost as big and strong as Sabalenka is in real life. She’s extremely intimidating looking on the court. She was practicing with Swiatek. Juan was hanging around Baudosa on the practice court in a tank top doing nothing but looking sexy.
My favorite was Casper Ruud who is really handsome in real life. FAA is elegant and polite but more withdrawn with fans. Both signed lots of autographs.

Callipygous Gaston takes out the MAGA trash.
by Anonymous | reply 337 | March 25, 2022 8:51 PM |
I LOVE Gaston when he's on it like today. Totally exposed Isner's weaknesses. Gaston got so many returns back in you could see it totally undermine Isner's confidence in his own serve in the second set.

OMG Kyrgios took Rublev to the woodshed.
*sighs*
by Anonymous | reply 341 | March 25, 2022 10:24 PM |
Kyrgios was lights out today. I expected him to have a letdown in Miami after choking against Nadal but he's handled 2 tough opponents in a row.
The next match against Fognini should be really fun

in a real WTF result today, both Cerundolo brothers are into the 3rd round! They were until this tournament clay specialists. Francisco defeated Griekspoor and then was up 6-1 3-1 on Opelka before Reilly retired. Juan Manuel defeated Lajovic and then today Anderson in 3 sets

Swiatek's No.1 at just 20, with a slam under her belt and has reached the last 16 or better at all the slams. That's pretty impressive these days.
by Anonymous | reply 350 | March 26, 2022 2:05 AM |
R350 it would be impressive in 2010-2017

R346 & r347, you’ve both forgotten Safina?
by Anonymous | reply 357 | March 26, 2022 9:02 AM |
R357 Right? She was a terrible #1.
by Anonymous | reply 358 | March 26, 2022 9:09 AM |
Fuck you R357. I am the GOAT of bad number ones and a gay icon.
by Anonymous | reply 359 | March 26, 2022 9:11 AM |
R357 Safina had a better record than Pliskova too. Pliskova has only 2 big titles to her name (Cincinnati and Rome). She's a 2 time slam finalist
Safina has 5 big titles (Berlin, Canada, Tokyo, Rome, Madrid). She is a 3 time slam finalist and is the 2008 silver medalist. Safina also backed up her 2008 clay season by doing better the next year. Pliskova had 1 brief part of a season when she got hot and hit #1. Neither was a good #1 but Safina's record is way better than Pliskova's

That Californian cunt Tracy Austin is obviously the worst and luckiest number one. All her wins were flukes and she only won because Martina was exhausted after endless nights of passion with me and Chrissy was having her weekly visit from Auntie Flo. Chrissy, Marti and moi are the three greatest players of all time.
by Anonymous | reply 361 | March 26, 2022 10:38 AM |
Jelena, you weren't even the #1 forehead on the WTA.
by Anonymous | reply 362 | March 26, 2022 11:48 AM |
Marti at R362, does your butt still hurt after all the kickings it got from Vee, Ree, Lindsey, Moni and Steffi? How does your trophy shelf look with the empty slot for the Roland Garros trophy which you never won?
Ree may have beaten me 50 times but at least I managed to get a career Grand Slam which even Vee, Moni, Lindsey and Juju couldn't do. And I did it all with a weak heart.
