At that time, DNA technology was still relatively new and many people weren't very familiar with it or didn't trust it. It was the complete opposite of today, where DNA's validity is unquestioned and people know exactly what it is. We also didn't have all of the tv shows like CSI or Forensic Files back then. It was such a different world. If the trial happened today the DNA evidence would be much be much better understood.

In the old days, golf gloves used to be made of thin leather and my dad had some. They get wet and shrink down quite a bit, but you can get them over your hands. Hair in the blue-knit cap found near Goldman's feet matched Simpson's hair.

Hair found on Goldman's shirt matched Simpson's hair - which was likely deposited by "direct contact," possibly when Simpson grabbed Goldman by the throat from behind.

Hair matching Nicole's was found on the bloody right-hand glove at Rockingham - consistent with the coroner's testimony that Simpson had yanked her by the hair before he slit her throat.

Now historians believe that she was likely murdered by an abusive lover, an adult white man that she'd been seeing on the sly because he was married.
