It also cleans silver very well if you'll make a paste of of it with some water.

Could you use it on black enamel stovetop without scratching it? Black enamel shows all water and food stains, in spite of always cleaning it. I hate it.

They make a toilet bowl cleaner that is hands down the best also, same name.

Here's what I use to clean my glass stovetop. Every weekend I spray oven cleaner on the areas that have any baked on residue and cover those areas with glass or stainless pot lids, otherwise the oven cleaner will evaporate too fast and prove useless. I leave it there for an hour and when I come back all the baked on residue is liquified. After I wipe that up and make a paste of BKF and water and use a plastic scrubber to polish the glass top. Once I wipe that up the glass cooktop looks just like new.

r15, I ordered some of this on your recommendation and wanted to thank you. you are absolutely correct, this is by miles the best toilet cleaner ever. my toilet is original to the house and converted to low flow and I have mineral water. I had to actually sand down a few of the mineral stain spots a while back. this stuff just bloop, cleaned it all right away, barely any scrubbing needed.

My toilet manufacturer (Toto) says don’t use it. Too abrasive. Destroys their proprietary porcelain surface.
