I can only assume you've never seen an application for business or law school, dear. There is invariably a section where you fill out both of your parents' names, as well as the degrees they hold – and, more importantly, where they obtained them, at least if you're not the child of a Kennedy. (Harvard et al have to keep track of legacy admissions *somehow*.) Further, might I remind you that Harvard is in Massachusetts? Everyone there knows the Schlossberg affiliations as much as DL queens know very well which princesses had the last names Spencer, Ferguson, and Markle.
