The bromance between Australian duo of Marcus Stoinis and Adam Zampa has raised a lot of eyebrows after both them being really comfortable with each other in the dressing room during ODI series between Australia and Pakistan. The video of Zampa playing with Stoinis’ hair went viral and there were a lot of talks on the relationship between two of Australia’s brightest prospects. Stoinis, after whitewashing Pakistan 3-0 in the ODI series, broke the silence on his bromance between Zampa.
Stoinis said that they are good mates and that sort of stuff makes long tours easier for a player. Stoinis further said that a person can’t take himself too seriously while adding that the current Australian side shares a good bond between themselves. Australia, who recently defeated India 3-2 in the five-match ODI series, continued their bright run of form as they clean swept Pakistan 3-0 in the ODI series in the United Arab Emirates.
“We are good mates, that sort of stuff gets you through long tours and all that sort of thing. A bit of banter, a bit of laugh. You can’t take yourself too seriously. We have got a good bond in the team and there’s a good group,” said Stoinis in the post-match press conference.
