Actual, bonafide singer who’s classically trained, has to be tenor Franco Corelli who dominated the Met Opera in the 60s- early ‘70s. He was said to be do handsome and striking in physique that opera goers had to do a double take when he first came out on stage as a new performer. Audiences were expecting the usual short, stocky/ fat tenor (as most tenor physiques are), not a 6’2” Italian with movie star looks and Greek God physique. Leontyne Price who made her Met debut along with Corelli making his own, commented on how much she loved singing with him because he had the most gorgeous legs.

^^^I should specify "young" Whitney Houston. Her lifestyle took a heavy toll on her appearance. As a young ingenue she was gorgeous.

Fabian. Not so much beautiful but extremely fuckable.

Corelli was gorgeous -- he still featured the caprino (little goat -- fast vibrato) like Lauri-Volpi, though he later sang without it. Wonderful voice. He was born too early (like Callas) before the video era took off, or he, instead of Pavarotti or Domingo, would have had the visual to match the voice.

Dolly Parton is really lovely - pretty voice, beautiful face, lovely person.

Fabian wasn't much of a singer, though he wasn't bad in his acting. He did let it all hang out in Playgirl years ago though.

I agree with so many of the above responses (Belinda, Susanna, Connie, Debbie, Whitney), so I’ll add two new ones: Kate Bush & Agnetha from Abba.

R52, yep the answer is Madonna

R47 I’m an opera fan, too young at age 41 to have seen Corelli perform live. But man, you’re absolutely right about him being born too early. As even Pavarotti himself said (there’s a clip on YT of him saying it), had Corelli been his (Pavarotti’s) age when tv made pop culture stars out of him/ 3 tenors, Corelli would’ve been a household name bigger than any of the tenors. The incomparable voice unlike anything heard today, onstage charisma, acting, and leading man looks were just too perfect together.
Also, imagine the likes of Corelli with his tight costume leggings featuring that visible bulge and muscular thighs as the photo in linked article shows. No wonder Maria Callas liked performing with him, he was one presence who could hold his own against hers.

Corelli wasn't known for being a particularly good actor, but he was so good-looking and had such a huge, thrilling voice, it wouldn't have really mattered.

I'm one of the DL's other Belinda Carlisle fans & while I hated her solo career redhead phase appearances
(blondes sold more records but try telling her that back then) but she looked her best in the "Leave A Light On" video =

There is really only one right answer to this question.

Whoever did her styling in 1989 should have won an award. She looked amazing with the long curly orange hair and pale white skin in the Leave A Light On And La Luna videos. Unlike Susanna Hoffs she never learned how to put on a show for the cameras and always looked bored. Then she went much shorter for Runaway Horses and Summer Rain. I'd have to read Lips Unsealed again to check what the cocaine situation was around this period.
The Live Your Life Be Free album had some great styling as well. She rocked the 60s look on the album artwork and the first 3 singles released.
