I've always thought she was an interesting person who had a strange life. She comes across as very eloquent in the rare interviews she's given. She's been plagued by the claim that she covered for her Lana in the murder of Lana's horse-hung mobster boyfriend Johnny Stompanato, but she denies this and has always taken responsibility for the killing. I am divided on it. I've read she was a successful real estate agent for years. What else do we know about her?
Cheryl Crane, Lana Turner's glamorous lesbian daughter/mobster killer

I have seen her interviewed and I think she comes across as a bimbo but then Lana was said to be not too bright either.

Her biography was one of the best Hollywood bios I've ever read. She's intelligent, articulate, matter-of-fact, and not the least bit self-pitying, even though she has every right to be, based on what she went through in her life.

R3 I've never thought Lana was a fool, to be honest. She was slutty, yes, but she always seemed well-spoken and reasonably intelligent to me. I'd venture to say she had more brains than Marilyn Monroe, who has somehow become a figure that low-IQ fraus and fat queens idolize as a misunderstood, "deep" thinker just because she was photographed reading books.

Agree with the other posts about her book. It’s great. She seemed to have a lot of common sense, which is quite an accomplishment given her upbringing.

She comes across very well to me, especially considering all she went through.
