I worked with this woman in a project and I'm half Jewish and though I get where she's coming from, this is still absurd. This surprises me, this woman is zen and into yoga, I thought she would be more chill.

There are lots of absurd things people do, but this kinda feels like the complaint has some merit. Not a wise thing to do.

I worked at a high end mens store in NYC years ago and we sold virtually the same pjs in silk for a couple of hundred. Nobody made a fuss about them and they sold well.

What's shocking is that the manufacturer and the store didn't tell her to go fuck herself and after that to make an appointment with a shrink. She obviously doesn't have a problem with every kind of striped pajama or with red striped PJs, and she's not mad because any and every kind of "stripped" pajama exists, but you pretend otherwise because the goal is to make someone -- in this case, a Jewish woman -- look ridiculous and absurd, and hold her up as being "what's wrong with the world today."
