Do you drink tea?
What are some of your favorites? Do you like regular tea or herb tea? Do you prefer tea to coffee?
Whenever I watch an old movie and someone asks someone else if they'd like a cup of tea, I often wonder if they're served regular tea or herbal. I cannot drink regular tea past noon as it will keep me up nights. Lately I've been drinking "Tension Tamer" which is a combination of chamomile with a blend of other herbs, but my favorite is ginseng.

I prefer strong black tea, English and Irish breakfast. Orange pekoe tea is OK.
I always prefer (require) coffee when I wake up but often want tea in the afternoon because it's lighter and refreshing.
I do like and drink a variety of alternatives like Yogi brand detox tea (so yummy!), ginger tea (so good for digestion), but they're not really 'real tea' as far as my taste buds are concerned.
Green tea is so bland it's hard to accept that I don't like it, but I really don't like it. The flavor just creeps me out for some reason.

I drink strong black tea with milk throughout the day, then sometimes chamomile at night.

I mostly drink "regular" tea, Earl Grey, or English afternoon tea . I like it with a lot of sugar, but since I have to watch my weight I use Splenda instead.
The only herbal tea I drink is ginger tea, and I sweeten that a lot too. Sometimes I blend ginger tea with regular tea.

Not English. I grew up in Northern Virginia and my family only had (unsweetened) iced tea when I was growing up. I did a short study abroad in England in college and developed a taste for English breakfast tea there, black or sometimes with a little milk.

What is a good brand of tea? I have a friend who brings me Tetley's every time he goes to the UK. He said the Tetley's sold in the US is not the same and is horrible.

I like Twinings and PG Tips, but I have avoided Twinings since I read the CBC found high levels of toxic pesticides in their teas.

I used to inspect a lot of apartments in NY (obviously) and green tea was one of the most common items left behind among tenants who didn't clean their apartments. It's like everyone HAS green tea because we're aware of the benefits but it's just not luxurious. I'm always disappointed when I've chosen the green tea bag at random.
Earl Grey is my favorite.

One of my great treats to myself .... after all, who better to treat .... on a gray, chilly & damp day is to have a sitdown with Lapsang souchong tea, perhaps with a cookie or two. Sheer relaxation ! It is a black tea consisting of Camellia sinensis leaves that are smoke-dried over a pinewood fire. I like the aroma the taste.

I drink hot, iced and herbal tea. I drink coffee too. I do not prefer one over the other as I consume both on a daily basis.

I mix my own tea.
Fennel and sage with lots of honey.
Ginger, pinch of pepper, garlic, palm sugar (very good when you have a sore throat)
Cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, milk and honey
