San Diego is the most fun US city to live in now!

I actually love SD. It has beautiful weather. Perfect, actually. It is also the most laid back, chill city, in my opinion. I love it there.

[quote] Cars Land at Disney's California Adventure...one of the best places to be...when the sun starts to set and those neon lights in Radiator Springs kick on 🤩 Ask a cast member when the neon lighting “ceremony” is and don’t miss it!! 🏎🏎🏎✨✨

Just mind the homeless.

by Anonymousreply 2November 22, 2021 2:06 AM

R2 that’s everywhere. I don’t get you people who act like that’s exclusive to a city.

by Anonymousreply 3November 22, 2021 2:08 AM

I'm sure it's a pleasant city, but that's one basic-ass skyline. I fancy a more dynamic skyline in my cities.

by Anonymousreply 4November 22, 2021 2:17 AM

R4 lmaooooo and what does the skyline do for you? It’s just buildings filled with more people than it can hold.

by Anonymousreply 5November 22, 2021 2:21 AM

Funny you say that r4, when the NYC skyline looks like shit these days with these new buildings.

by Anonymousreply 6November 22, 2021 2:22 AM

r5 r6 It doesn't have to be huge, just interesting.

by Anonymousreply 7November 22, 2021 2:28 AM

It’s doesn’t have the pressure of LA or SF but great weather and beaches. Fun is relative - but it is a chill life that seems less work focused. Not sure how given how insanely expensive it is - I guess it’s retirees with money and trust fund kids.

by Anonymousreply 8November 22, 2021 3:20 AM

Love that city.

by Anonymousreply 9November 22, 2021 10:02 PM

Boring fundamentalist right wing white bread land with it's little gay village.

by Anonymousreply 10November 22, 2021 10:13 PM

SD has some of the hottest men I’ve ever seen. The natives there can be assholes to transplants though.

by Anonymousreply 11November 22, 2021 10:36 PM

R10, besides not knowing the difference between its and it's, non-Hisapnic whites are actually a minority. The city is only 43% "white bread" and certainly lower than that are fundamentalists. What a stupid fucking cunt you are.

by Anonymousreply 12November 22, 2021 10:48 PM

Your use of the word "actually" is unnecessary and annoying as fuck...actually. I've decided to never move to SD because you actually live there.

by Anonymousreply 13November 22, 2021 11:01 PM

Which tribe?

I don't ACTUALLY live there, but I did ACTUALLY fuck up in spelling "Hispanic." Life as an insufferable, wretched piece of shit must really suck.

by Anonymousreply 15November 22, 2021 11:06 PM

OP but there's no there there. It's a sprawl

by Anonymousreply 16November 22, 2021 11:09 PM

It's a fun place for a weekend frolic.

by Anonymousreply 17November 22, 2021 11:16 PM

They also list San Francisco as #2 and Portland as #3 which makes me wonder how sane they are.

by Anonymousreply 18November 22, 2021 11:21 PM

All amazing cities

by Anonymousreply 19November 22, 2021 11:31 PM

Sailors. Yum.

by Anonymousreply 20November 22, 2021 11:34 PM

It was grand in the 80's

by Anonymousreply 22November 22, 2021 11:52 PM

Is it easy to find hot sex there?

by Anonymousreply 23November 23, 2021 12:17 AM

There are so many beautiful men there r23.

by Anonymousreply 24November 23, 2021 12:19 AM

r1 What does Disneyland have to do with San Diego?

by Anonymousreply 25November 23, 2021 2:46 AM

Sure, OP. Who needs drinking water?

by Anonymousreply 26November 23, 2021 2:54 AM

[quote]It was grand in the 80's

Before Andrew Cunanan.

by Anonymousreply 27November 23, 2021 2:57 AM

Yes, R23, especially if you like homeless guys!

by Anonymousreply 28November 23, 2021 6:53 PM

I live in San Diego. It's okay, but I wouldn't call it fun.

by Anonymousreply 29November 23, 2021 7:18 PM

Have lived in San Diego for the past 8 years. A lot of gays (this includes women) live there and are some are very successful in politics - mayor, city council, district attorney, state representative. A lot more gay men than women though. As far as "fun", the city has greatest weather year round and fabulous coast. If you're into outdoor activities, it's a great place to be. Entertainment meh, Restaurants so-so and expensive, zoo and old town - fun for one time, Arts - trying hard and sometimes very good. In other words - it's a great place to visit. Living there? way expensive (900 sq feet w/o utilities in just ok area $2000/mo), 2400 sq ft in very good neighborhood - $2 M. Gas - $5 /gal. If you have lots of money and imagination, it's great. Natives can't imagine living anywhere else. But it's hard on newcomers. IMHO
