Does Dionne Warwick know?
Whatever happened to Olivia Hussy?

Bitch better stay out of San Jose. I still got her number.

Her daughter, India Eisley, has been making the rounds lately; I just saw her in Every Breath you Take. She looks quite a bit like her mom.

R2 is she a Hussy???

After I decide I’m finished singing I tell my concert ticket buying audience “that’s all you’re getting” then quickly exit the stage and light up a cigarette.

Her career was hit-and-miss after "Romeo and Juliet", but she does have cult credit for her role in "Black Christmas". I truly believe she is one of the most beautiful women to have ever walked the earth. She has a rare beauty that is almost freakish because her features are so flawless. I've always thought it was kind of funny that she married an American metal musician (the father of her daughter India Eisley, who is also stunning).

She showed up at an anniversary screening of Romeo and Juliet in Hollywood a few years ago.

Olivia Hussey, 70. She was married to Dean Paul Martin, 1971-78.

She was in Death on the Nile in 1978 with Peter Ustinov, David Niven, Lois Chiles, Simon MacCorkindale, George Kennedy, Jane Birkin, Jack Warden, Bette Davis, Maggie Smith, John Hurt, and Angela Lansbury, who played her mother. She was definitely overshadowed by the aforementioned.
Then nothing.

Olivia and Leonard
so beautiful, so young...
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 24, 2021 2:56 AM |
She's on twitter and instagram. She is into animal rights and seems like a cool person. She wrote an autobiography a few years back
by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 24, 2021 2:56 AM |
I adore her in Black Christmas, and I remember her really freaking me out as Mrs. Bates in Psycho IV.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 24, 2021 2:56 AM |
She looks good for 70.

Looking forward to "Sharing the Joy" for the 50th Anniversary of "Lost Horizon" hosted by Bette Midler.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 24, 2021 3:25 AM |
I read somewhere that she has some form of agoraphobia and that took a toll on her career I'm sure. She probably doesn't work as much because of it. Very beautiful and still is. Black Christmas is a good one to pull out around this time of year. One of the scariest movies of all time.

R1, you obviously are not I, because I am sexy, smart and legendary I and do not invoke S** J*** phrase unless the Chamber of Fucking Commerce pays me for the plug. We agreed on that in 1992.
That Olivia Hussy got old like all the Hussys do. Plus when you flash the goods at 15 no one is going to pay to see them as antiques later on.
That Hussy Mussy is Crusty.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 24, 2021 3:36 AM |
They were both SO beautiful in that movie. It's kind of shocking to see that they have aged.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 24, 2021 3:56 AM |
R3, Hussy was a little floosie.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 24, 2021 3:58 AM |

R20, but I do understand you're the Quite Big Tits troll. I just had to add that my dad is a perv.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 24, 2021 4:17 AM |
R22 even as a gay man, I can acknowledge the fact that Olivia had a killer rack. Not only did she have flawless facial features, but she also had perfect (natural) tits. She was truly stunning.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 24, 2021 4:24 AM |
She's on Localhussies.com.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 24, 2021 4:30 AM |
Are there any pictures of Olivia's parents floating around the internet? I'm curious what they looked like. I know that her father was Argentinian, which you can kind of see in her features (olive skin tone, dark hair), and her mother was English. She has a younger brother, too. I wonder if he was blessed with good looks as well.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 24, 2021 4:38 AM |
She was very beautiful and so was Leonard Whiting. I loved the 1968 Romeo and Juliet far more than the 1996 one. I watched both in my high school English class. I'm kinda shocked there's no Twitter movement to cancel the 1968 version because of all the underage nudity as Olivia was 15 and Leonard was 17. It never bothered me and I didn't see it as sexual or pornographic personally.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 24, 2021 4:39 AM |
r27 probably wants to cancel "Critical Race Theory"
by Anonymous | reply 28 | November 24, 2021 4:41 AM |
Thanks for the memories, R14. My big sister had the Lost Horizon soundtrack album, we all loved it. What glorious trash it was.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 24, 2021 4:55 AM |
I read her autobiography and she's led a sometimes hardscrabble life post Romeo and Juliet and marriage to Dino. She was never terribly ambitous and her business manager cheated her out of her funds and a house in the Hollywood Hills that she owned free and clear. A lot of moving around SoCal and juggling three kids by different husbands. I could have seen her going the Aaron Spelling route of soaps and episodic TV if she was centered in the 70's - 80's.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 24, 2021 5:03 AM |
Olivia made a brief appearance in the ‘90 miniseries “It,” still looking gorgeous, sorry her role was so small.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 24, 2021 5:04 AM |
Her Argentinian father whom she resembles facially but the feminine version.
I find her very beautiful I’m not sure what her career could have amounted to in the 70s. I know she was offered and turned down a few parts including Anne of the thousand days (may have been too young) and true grit (I can’t really see her in this but who knows, maybe playing a tomboy would have been good after Juliet). In her autobiography she says she had a falling out with her good friend Liza Minnelli when Minnelli pursued the role of Camille in a proposed Franco zeffirelli film version of the “lady of the camellias”. They eventually made up but she claims it was never the same between them again. Still she was one of the many guests at Lisa’s wedding to David guest.
I think Jane Seymour sort of walked off with her career in the 70s and 80s. I think Olivia would have ended up in some melodramas sue to her Juliet image and her beauty.

Isn't she in some weird Hindi cult?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 24, 2021 8:00 AM |
If she's half Argentine. That means she's got some Italian, Spanish and Indigenous blood mixed with the other half of English. It explains her beautiful and unique look. The long straight black hair and cheekbones.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 24, 2021 4:14 PM |
She was born in Buenos Aires and lived there during her early childhood until her parents split, R34. After, she went to England with her mother and spent the rest of her early life there. She has a unique accent that sounds British, but also kind of not—I am guessing this has to do with having lived in two different countries in her youth.

A pretty interesting, fairly recent interview with Olivia

R32, Olivia revealed in her autobiography that she was a witness at the wedding of Liza Minnelli and Peter Sellers in the 1970s, a marriage that was quickly annulled and never reported in the media.

She and Honor Blackman played "roommates" in the late 1970s remake of "The Cat and the Canary." Blackman was quoted as saying that he lesbian sent her a lot of letters about that movie.

by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 24, 2021 7:58 PM |
They showed us Romeo and Juliet in high school in the 80s. We had to get our parents to sign a permission slip because of the nudity. I was 13 or 14 and greatly confused because I found Leonard Whiting even more beautiful than Olivia Hussey. I still remember his nude backside but couldn’t tell you a thing about Olivia’s breasts.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 24, 2021 8:31 PM |
In my class - I was a teen in the late 2000s. All the girls had a crush on Leonard Whiting after watching Romeo and Juliet. Me being gay was far more noticing of his beauty though I even thought Olivia was stunning. We all compared Leonard's looks to Zac Efron. Zac certainly did favor him but without the talent.

She was also very good in Zeffirelli's "Jesus of Nazareth" miniseries playing Mary. Her look was perfect for that part.

The actress playing the role needs to know the English language.

She moved into 10050 Cielo Drive shortly after the murders and was raped by ex-boyfriend Christopher Jones.

I've noticed that her daughter, India—like her mother—speaks with a slight English accent. I was under the impression that Olivia had lived in LA for decades, but this makes me wonder if she's gone back and forth between there and England, which would explain her daughter's accent. India was born in LA, but she definitely doesn't sound like a California girl, and I doubt she'd retain an English accent just because her mom spoke with one.

She's.a bit beaky but that imperfection makes her more interesting.
She was in the Psycho prequel opposite Freddie Highmore and was impressive

I bet Zeffrelli would have killed to get his hands on her kid at r53
by Anonymous | reply 60 | November 27, 2021 11:27 PM |
Zeffirelli was a lucky old queen, he most likely had Leonard Whiting, Martin Hewitt, Tom Cruise and James Spader at their peak of beauty.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | November 27, 2021 11:32 PM |
When I was a kid Romeo and Juliet and Lost Horizon were among my favorite movies!
As was Mame with Lucille Ball.

James Spader?

Margot Kidder thought she was strange, because she went around telling people that she was going to marry Paul McCartney per her psychic.
Bette Davis didn't get along with her on DOTN.

Bette Davis didn't get along with anybody. She was a bitch.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | November 28, 2021 12:21 AM |
R65, Margot Kidder wasn't in "Death on the Nile".
by Anonymous | reply 67 | November 28, 2021 12:26 AM |
R67 I think R65 is referring to a story about Olivia claiming the Paul McCartney thing on the set of Black Christmas, in which she costarred with Margot. I don’t think Margot, bless her heart, was ever exactly an easy personality to get along with either. As far as Bette Davis goes, R66 is right. Davis was a cunt to everyone, especially as she got older.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | November 28, 2021 1:27 AM |
Has Maggie Smith said much about Davis?
by Anonymous | reply 69 | November 28, 2021 1:34 AM |
Why would Margot Kidder take a silly teenage fantasy of marriage to a Beatle seriously?
by Anonymous | reply 70 | November 28, 2021 2:36 AM |
[quote] Has Maggie Smith said much about Davis?
I imagine if the appalling Davis created problems Maggie would have replied—
[quote] Miss Davis has made totally unsupported accusations against my name. If one more word of this outrageous calumny reaches my ears, I shall sue! I will not stand quietly by and allow myself to be crucified by a woman whose fetid frustration has overcome her judgment! If scandal is to your taste, Miss Davis, I shall give you a feast!
