Cinema Cats

Name a TV show or movie and the cat that goes with it.

I'll start..."Our Miss Brooks." Cat was an orange tabby cat named Minerva, owned by her landlady Mrs Davis

"Cats", the film version of the musical had dozens of the things, some with human tits. They were all called Kill Me Now.

"The Body Snatcher" (Boris Karloff) had a cat named Brother, IIRC. One of director Robert Wise's first films and one of my favorite performances by Karloff.

Salem Saberhagen appeared in every episode of "Sabrina, the Teen-a Age-a Witch-a.." Since the real cat couldn't speak English, they used an animatronic version , voiced by Nick Bakay, when the cat had lines.

Also starring DL faves Hayley Mills and the inimitable Grayson Hall!

The black cat from Dishonored. Marlene Dietrich takes the cat with her on an old fashioned open style airplane!

“When put before the cameras in ‘Dishonored,’ he purred with conscious pride and proceeded to give one of the most remarkable feline performances ever witnessed by an astonished director and company. Blackie was promptly assigned a more important role. He became Marlene Dietrich’s pet, and thus carries an extended role through-out the entire production, even winning himself a big-eyed closeup at the end of the picture.”

How’s this for peak frau? Daisy’s cat, Bonkers, on All My Children. He was the pet of the AMC producer and they put him on the show. When the cat died in real life, they actually wrote it in and Daisy spent a few days grieving her cat. I don’t recall another soap ever showing what it’s like losing a pet.
