I have a thing for sockless guys in boat shoes.
Boat Shoes

Go visit Calais. There are a lot of newly minted mariners there, some with boat shoes.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | November 17, 2021 3:21 PM |
I’m with you, OP. The stinkier the feet, the better.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 17, 2021 3:42 PM |
That's what I'll be wearing as my foot outfit today. It should hit 70 here.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm..........
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 17, 2021 3:45 PM |
R3, are your feet going to get smelly today? And are you HUNG?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 17, 2021 3:55 PM |
Same here, OP. Love them. I love the whole casual preppy look. My last neighbor was a 35 yo black man who regularly wore that kind of look, plaid shorts, polo shirt and boat shoes. He was so hot.

Same here.
They’re called corns.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | November 17, 2021 4:00 PM |
Mmmmmmm.....love huffing a guy's well-worn boat shoes.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | November 17, 2021 5:06 PM |
They leak water.
You can't have more than one pair unless you are Ted Turner's great-grandson.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 18, 2021 4:10 AM |
They represent both Venus and Mars, on a Man's foot.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 18, 2021 4:10 AM |
When Elon gets us to mars, we will wear cool shoes, I am sure.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 18, 2021 4:11 AM |
You're a preppy pushover, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 18, 2021 4:38 AM |
I wish I had some water proof boat shoes.
Back in the 2015s, when I was Yaughting with the Kennedies and the Heinzes and the Obamas
My shoes filled with water. Will that prevent me from getting into Harvard?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 18, 2021 5:28 AM |
Ed Hardy had some sensational boat shoes circa 2006. They make great footwear for around the house.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 18, 2021 9:13 AM |
I don't like those stinky things.
I would rather go barefoot that wear that shit upon my feet.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 18, 2021 9:19 AM |
Well then move to DC. An entire city full of nerds wearing the shoes
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 18, 2021 9:20 AM |
Another DL thread that's been done 1Kx over. I don't point this out. out of malice, but because the same people who bring up boat shoes are the first to jump on the VPL, etc threads to proclaim them overdone. Stop trying to make boat shoes a thing!
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 18, 2021 11:21 AM |
It's better than another stoopid thread on MADONNA STUNS IN NEW INCONTINENCE PANTS! or BILLIE EYELASH TALKS ABOUT HER FIRST GUILT FREE ORGASM! I mean, we can't ape the Daily Fail all the time, now can we?

Eww red neck republicans.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | March 19, 2022 8:19 PM |
The last time I wore boat shoes, in about 1987, Mari Howell (why was I going somewhere at night with Mari Howell?) told me that they were out-of-fashion. She seemed embarrassed to be seen with someone wearing them. I don't think I ever wore them again, because I trusted her judgment.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | March 19, 2022 9:20 PM |
I still wear them. Nice to have a pair of shoes you don' t have to wear socks with. Fuck me. Please.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | March 20, 2022 4:21 AM |
I broke my ankle and it will never be the same wearing boat shoes on a wet street. They look cool but remember your ankles. You're going to be needing them.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | March 20, 2022 5:29 AM |
So Sperry no longer uses the Topsider name?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | March 20, 2022 6:03 AM |
They still do r30.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | March 29, 2022 9:56 AM |
So you like frat boys
by Anonymous | reply 34 | June 29, 2022 2:56 AM |
R33 Just gorgeous.

How big is your thing?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | June 29, 2022 3:22 AM |
I don’t want to board anyone’s boat (you’re trapped unless you pretend to drown)
I don’t want to help preserve the boat’s varnish
I don’t want to pull up on the bunny knot to tighten the foot opening of my wet topsider so they don’t fly off during storms
I don’t have to fantasize about using my comuter boat to stop by my shoe closet boat before heading out to my smoke weed boat. That one would have hydroponics

In high school, I had cheap faux leather ones from Payless that made my feet smell.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | June 29, 2022 7:08 AM |
Sounds hot r38.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | June 29, 2022 8:44 AM |
Funny, I have a thing for sail-less boats in guy shoes!
by Anonymous | reply 41 | July 25, 2022 8:15 AM |
Forever frat boy shoe
by Anonymous | reply 42 | July 25, 2022 8:46 AM |
R38, the stink is the sexiest part of the Topsider experience (even if they’re Payless knockoffs). As long as the dude is HOT, the smellier the better.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 4, 2022 4:32 AM |
I got these and recently a yellow pair that are actually like crocs but look like Sperrys. So I can wear them with my lavender and peach.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | December 5, 2022 7:52 AM |
My very first job at 15 was a camp counselor; my very first purchase from my first paycheck was a pair of Sperry’s.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | February 13, 2023 10:44 AM |
Boat shoes just scream Republican.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | February 13, 2023 10:23 PM |
Most of the Sperry top-siders are made in China, Vietnam and Indonesia now. Used to be Maine. Explains why the quality is garbage.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | February 13, 2023 10:38 PM |
They remind me of prep school.
We had a grooming code and "sockless" was not an option.
So it was tubesocks with topsiders.
Lame.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | February 20, 2023 11:41 AM |
R56, at least your feet didn’t smell—at least not as badly as they otherwise could.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | February 20, 2023 11:48 AM |
Kind of retro and too encasing.
High quality flip-flops are better, and sexier.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | February 20, 2023 11:56 AM |
^^^^ I guess passé is a better descriptor than retro.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | February 20, 2023 12:02 PM |
stodgy; not sexy
by Anonymous | reply 60 | February 20, 2023 12:07 PM |
Women loves pastel crewnecks, khakis, deck shoes on their man.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | February 20, 2023 12:17 PM |
Technically, those aren't boat shoes, R63. I'd punish that dude by making him take them off (along with the shorts, the shirt and glasses and we all know he's not wearing underwear except for those ridiculous socks which have to go, too).
by Anonymous | reply 64 | March 5, 2023 8:31 PM |
r33 r35 Here's a bunch of pics of the guy in r33, called "An Italian in Sydney." Does anyone know who this model is?
by Anonymous | reply 65 | March 5, 2023 8:52 PM |
I like weird colors but that’s just me. They have these with blue soles and orange ones too. I think those might be brown on top?
by Anonymous | reply 68 | April 5, 2023 7:19 AM |
It's an old money look. Like living in Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard in the "summer cottage" at 10,000 sq. ft. on your private beach, sailing on the Atlantic in your huge sailboat....or hanging out on the yacht. The compound..
