Those porcelain dolls that resemble Victorian children.

by Anonymousreply 2October 30, 2021 2:18 PM

Hordes of children in costumes that come to my house for free candy even though the lights are off and Iโ€™m hiding behind the curtains.

Clowns, of course

by Anonymousreply 7October 30, 2021 3:01 PM

Those faceless dolls/decorations that are made with a real pair of stuffed jeans or pants and are posed in a way so you see the back of them. Creepy frau city.

by Anonymousreply 8October 30, 2021 3:03 PM

Basements. My grandmother used to tell us kids that elves had put up her Christmas tree before we had arrived and that they lived in the basement. (She was a control freak who wanted to place all of the ornaments herself.) When she died and we were cleaning out her house, no one wanted to do the basement. There were elves down there...

The center of sago palms always freaks me out. It looks alien to me.

A lone doll baby on the side of the road either with her hair cut off or a limb missing, sometimes both. It's a very disturbing site.

by Anonymousreply 13October 30, 2021 3:17 PM

I will oh dear myself. Site should be sight.

by Anonymousreply 14October 30, 2021 3:17 PM

Cauliflower. I have no idea why.

by Anonymousreply 15October 30, 2021 3:22 PM

R12 wow you're not kidding! That looks like some weird Annihilation / Predator thing.

by Anonymousreply 16October 30, 2021 3:29 PM

Photos of Angelina's brood.

Those twins from Monaco too.

by Anonymousreply 17October 30, 2021 5:19 PM

I agree with you, OP. Not everyone loves puppets.

R12, that Sago Palm reminds me of the man-eating plant in ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐€๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐‘๐ž๐ ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ž๐ญ (1959) - at least insofar as one could make it out, due to shitty CineMagic special effects.

Images of St. Sebastian. No issue with crucifix but ST.S. has always made my skin crawl. No other problems with a hawt guy being stuck.

by Anonymousreply 27October 30, 2021 6:45 PM

Taxidermy freaks me out. All of it. What psychopath first though to do that to dead animals?

by Anonymousreply 28October 30, 2021 6:46 PM

I have a clear childhood memory of an ice cream truck moving at a very slow pace down the street that, for some reason, sent chills down my spine. It had nothing to do with the object, but the glide and pace at which it was moving. It's a very specific slow speed and I rarely see it, but when I do, it freaks me the fuck out. The closest I can compare it to is the way satellites move in the night sky. Perhaps it's some kind of slow-moving phobia?

by Anonymousreply 29October 30, 2021 6:54 PM

I'm with you, R27. Dwarfs are very upsetting.

by Anonymousreply 30October 30, 2021 7:59 PM

Children.
