I was under the mistaken impression of Tobey Maguire that 1.) he appeared in more films that I liked/had seen in full, and 2.) had not done much work otherwise.

How very wrong I was. He was in The Ice Storm and Wonder Boys, and excellent in both great films. Excepting maybe Ciderhouse Rules (which I saw a bit of on a plane), he's been in nothing I would want to see, but a lot more films than I thought, 29 or 30.
