May his marina sauce never cling to his pasta.

Now folks know where NOT to go.

And the coward owner didn't even have the balls to come over and kick them out himself, he sends over a waitress.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | September 20, 2021 5:37 AM |
The owner sounds like a huge asshole
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 20, 2021 5:38 AM |
Here's the asshole restaurant owner, Tom...
by Anonymous | reply 5 | September 20, 2021 5:39 AM |
Yes the owner is an absolute asshole.
But why are these parents eating in a restaurant when they have an immunocompromised baby? Also a 4 month old baby doesn't have much of an immune system to begin with. Just saying.

Our country is fucked . How will we ever get this under control with our sizable population of viral jihadists? They want this thing to spread as widely as possible.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | September 20, 2021 5:43 AM |
I hope they come to his window… and bust them all one by one.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | September 20, 2021 5:45 AM |
People, keep your wee babies at home. This is what delivery and takeout are for. Need to get out of the house? Eat your delivery in your yard, or at a park.
That said, Texass is full of holes.

it's some rightwing asshole's 'sports bar' - full of drunks and thugs - they should have gone to a regular restaurant
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 20, 2021 5:51 AM |
Wait . . . did they bring the baby with them? Say they didn't. Please say they didn't.

[quote] But why are these parents eating in a restaurant when they have an immunocompromised baby?
Yes why? Are they looking for trouble?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 20, 2021 5:57 AM |
I have to help clarify that...the baby wasn't with them.
The couple went with some friends. They say they rarely go out. They wore masks to help protect their baby at home.

Beto is going to cream Abbott in ‘22
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 20, 2021 5:58 AM |
^^ How did that happen? I swear I was on the US-UK alliance thread.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 20, 2021 5:59 AM |
Never mind. It freakily corrected itself. Not the first time that's happened.
Hold me I'm scared.

Ahhhh.... Texas - I have to wonder if all of the people who moved there the past 10 years are having any regrets.
This isn't just one example - Texas is full of these shitstains. It's just balanced out a bit in the cities - but this attitude is everywhere.
You can have it. No thanks.
Let the South secede - I'm done with them.

This story is funny to me.

So what is it specifically about wearing masks that is so triggering to some Trumpies? Do they think since it covers part of the head it is like an Islamic head covering or something? I dont get it
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 20, 2021 6:43 AM |
Owner Tom looks like he hasn't had a fuck he didn't have to pay for in 30 years.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 20, 2021 6:46 AM |
“We speak to the owner of a Texas restaurant who doesn’t believe in masks…” “How do you explain your views on masks?”
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 20, 2021 6:47 AM |
It’s time to hang.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 20, 2021 3:51 PM |
SO weird. You can't wear a mask and you mustn't get the vaccine.
How's that working out for you??

interesting poll just came out in Texas about the crazy anti-abortion bill: 81% oppose it. The rightwingers are only reading the room in hick towns in the Bible belt. Texas is ripe for the flipping.

Too many fat, ugly, stupid Guatemalans in Texas now, too many!!!

"I don't want any _________ in my restaurant."
We hear you loud and clear, bubba.

Matthew McConaughey (who has not officially announced any candidacy) is leading Abbott in polls by 9%. Mr. Alright, Alright, Alright. He's problematic but I'd take him in a minute over Hot Wheels Hitler. Abbott lost favor with his base last year with initially endorsing mask mandates and his handling of the freeze. These new abortion prohibitions are his way of winning back the base. Problem is, only fundies truly back this change. Right wingers may profess they are pro-life on Facebook, but they think this is a step too far. It took the state from pro-business red to nutty, Bible-thumper red.

As I recall, there's always been a segment of the Texas population that's batshit crazy. There are, also, normal George HW Bush Republicans. He was actually pro-choice before he hitched himself to Reagan's star. DL fave Bar was always pro-choice.

An hour ago, a Black junior high principal was dismissed after being falsely accused of teaching CRT.
Every parent, student, and community member who spoke supported him. The board voted 7-0 against him.
[quote] What seems clear, is the treatment of @DrJamesWhit goes beyond the CRT debates.
[quote] What happened was a group of white people deciding to punish a popular Black educator for speaking out about abuse and attacks— after district leaders failed to defend him. #IStandwithDrWhitfield
