He hardly mentioned Lena Horne with whom his career was intertwined - two albums together, a TV special, a Las Vegas show, and they lived in the same NYC building for years. Bullshit, R25. Poitier didn't work with Harry Belafonte, they were friends. The friendship didn't last. Lena Horne worked with Harry Belafonte on stage and in a New York recording studio. They ended up hating each other. This is not "Hollywood," and these are BLACK stars.

As for movies, Harry Belafonte's movie career mostly ended in the 1950s. He was not popular in the business, and it was not only because he wasn't as good as actor as Sidney Poitier.
