What is your favorite Lisa Hartman memory?
by Anonymous | reply 80 | October 9, 2021 6:13 PM |
It was Lisa's disco-country-rockin' single from 1979...

Lisa got paid to have Alec Baldwin get naked, wrap his arms around her and jam his crotch into hers
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 19, 2021 8:06 PM |
Washing up dead on the beach
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 19, 2021 8:18 PM |
I have no Lisa Hartman memories.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | September 19, 2021 8:30 PM |
My only memories from 1987 are related to this masterpiece.

R6 - When are they going to get this treasure on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? And who thinks that's really Brigitte singing on the record?
(Sorry for derailing your post, OP.)
by Anonymous | reply 7 | September 19, 2021 9:29 PM |
R8 - Timeless!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | September 20, 2021 1:54 AM |
Years before J-Lo and the Kardashian skanks, Lisa was rocking it
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 20, 2021 5:54 AM |
R4, that was the one for me too.

My favorite Ciji moment was when Val walked into the police department and told Det. Janet Baines (Joanna Pettet sp?) "ah, killed Ciji."
She wanted to clear Gary; she said pushed Ciji who hit her head.
"And then what happened, Mrs. Ewing?"
"She got up and yelled at me to get out and so I left."
"And you think you killed her?"
Val was convinced that Ciji died later of some kind of blood clot caused by the blow she took to the head. The look on Val's face when the cops said Ciji had been strangled to death was priceless. This whole scenario that Val had cooked up in her head was proven scientifically to be false.
What booze was to Gary, Gary was to Val.

My only memory of her is at the Don Henley wedding. Lisa was lovely and funny as was Clint.

When she played Neely O'Hara in the CBS miniseries "Jacqueline Susann's Valley of the Dolls" (1981).

Dies as Ciji. Comes back as Cathy. The fans loved her.

We shall never speak of this again.

Some of the fans. Never cared much for her on the show, although I did enjoy Ciji more than Cathy FWIW.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | September 20, 2021 12:31 PM |
Considering I’m almost 35 and never heard of this…
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 20, 2021 12:34 PM |
Lisa's return as Cathy Geary to "Knots Landing" received major publicity. She was on the cover of every weekly TV guide and Sunday entertainment sections in newspapers when most people read them.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 20, 2021 4:54 PM |
She was a poor man’s Morgan Fairchild, who was a very poor man’s Heather Locklear………of course all of them were never in my league.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 20, 2021 4:58 PM |
Lisa Hartman was the rich man's Mary Hartman.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 20, 2021 5:03 PM |
When the writers obviously flirted with the idea of Ciji getting it on with DL fave Constance McCashin.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 20, 2021 5:21 PM |
I always thought of Lisa Hartmen as Melissa Sue Anderson's butch twin sister who was raised in a different 'socio-economic' bracket than Missy.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | September 20, 2021 5:36 PM |
She nabbed the coveted lead role in "Bewitched" spinoff, "Tabitha"
by Anonymous | reply 27 | September 20, 2021 6:14 PM |
2000 Malibu Road!!
Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Beals just wish they had the nighttime soap acting chops and silky lingerie Kisa Hartman Blavk possessed in this criminally underrated piece of trash.
She headlines as exclusive ca girl Jade O’Keefe
by Anonymous | reply 28 | September 20, 2021 6:21 PM |
I've always appreciated that Lisa Hartman jumped into the fashion and hair fads of the eighties with both feet. No hesitation with that gal, she committed!
by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 20, 2021 8:51 PM |
R29 - And still does to this day.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 20, 2021 11:16 PM |
How has there not been a Tabitha reboot?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 30, 2021 6:14 AM |
R27 With her original nose, even!

[quote] How has there not been a Tabitha reboot?
Go ask Netflix and Kiernan Shipka
by Anonymous | reply 33 | September 30, 2021 1:13 PM |
I thought she was cute on Tabitha, with her original nose.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | September 30, 2021 1:35 PM |
She was quite the staple of the scandal sheets in the 80s. Always on the red carpet with her spiky hairdo, deep décolletage, and - was she the one with wacky shoes? I know Cybill Shepherd was into sneakers with gowns and whatnot.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | September 30, 2021 1:40 PM |
Cybill Shepherd is just plain country trash. She can't even spell her own name, for God's sake.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 1, 2021 3:05 AM |
R37 - It's hard to tell which one, Clint or Lisa, has had more work done.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 1, 2021 4:10 AM |
Didn't she know where the boys were?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 1, 2021 4:14 AM |
I'll always remember her as the gender confused daughter of Lois Nettleton in Deadly Blessing, an early Wes Craven horror film that also has Sharon Stone and Ernest Borgnine.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 1, 2021 4:43 AM |
When you found out that she was a he in that awful Sharon Stone horror movie where she eats a spider.

Singing Journey’s Open Arms to Gary Ewing.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 1, 2021 4:55 AM |
"I'm sorry...Did someone say singing Journey's "Open Arms" to Gary Ewing?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | October 1, 2021 5:17 AM |
Oh, my sides!
Her version of we belong is just a step above bad karaoke, you know when they're really drunk and everybody just eggs the singer on just to be nice.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | October 1, 2021 7:25 AM |
After hearing her sing "Open Arms" she could have sung the closing song to "Mystic Pizza." Her vocals sound very similar.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | October 1, 2021 2:32 PM |
R5 you need to work on that
by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 1, 2021 8:07 PM |
She realized the Cher campiness of the eighties as they were happening
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 2, 2021 5:12 AM |
She was on Inside Sports' cover when they jumped into the swimsuit issue competition with Sports Illustrated
by Anonymous | reply 51 | October 2, 2021 7:15 AM |
R51 - Why does she have her "Grumpy Cat" face on?
by Anonymous | reply 52 | October 2, 2021 3:58 PM |
Valley of the Dolls "1981" - CBS Mini-Series / full length w/ commercials from '81!
by Anonymous | reply 53 | October 2, 2021 4:12 PM |
R53 - My eyes! MY EYES!!
by Anonymous | reply 54 | October 2, 2021 4:58 PM |
I liked Lisa's performance on the Love Boat where she is a degenerate gambler and Larry from Three's Company is the enforcer, sent there to break "Tony's" legs and collect the debt. Except "Tony" is short for Antoinette (played by Lisa). And of course they fall in love and hilarity ensues!
by Anonymous | reply 55 | October 2, 2021 5:05 PM |
My least favorite memory of her is when she married Clint just when I was beginning to think he might be gay.

[quote] My least favorite memory of her is when she married Clint just when I was beginning to think he might be gay.
Oh honey, no. That didn't prove a thing.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | October 3, 2021 4:32 PM |
Anyone remember 2000 Malibu road? Where Drew Barrymore plays in aspiring actress.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | October 4, 2021 12:29 AM |
I imagined I was in first class on that flight where Alec would NOT put his phone away.
I would have stood up and called him a MONSTAH and told him that I didn't care that his father beat him and that he was CRUEL!
We could have been dragged off the plane together.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | October 4, 2021 4:17 AM |
Opened the door and all three were sucked out before flight attendants restored the seal.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | October 4, 2021 4:35 AM |
I've never felt more in sync with a casting director than the one who cast Lisa, Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Beals
by Anonymous | reply 62 | October 5, 2021 12:19 AM |
R50 - Thanks for posting that. I love the part where Barry does the splits and lands on his giant dick.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | October 8, 2021 3:40 PM |
I like her version of "Slow Dancing." She sang better than Cheryl Ladd.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | October 8, 2021 4:46 PM |
I liked her old nose.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | October 8, 2021 6:22 PM |
So, just to indulge in some good old-fashioned DL posting, I've always thought that Lisa and Clint's marriage was of the "lavender" kind.
He's gay, she's cool with it (I question if she's a lesbian). If he's not gay, she has been getting some serious dick for decades another rumor is that Clint is h-u-n-g.
He was really good looking when young, is definitely aging.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | October 8, 2021 6:33 PM |
She didn't look a million miles away from Tina Yothers.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | October 8, 2021 6:36 PM |
Lucky bitch got to get up close & personal with Joe Penny's lips and gorgeous hairy body in a couple of trashy TV movies. Cunt!
(Yes, I know that's not her in the picture)
by Anonymous | reply 68 | October 8, 2021 6:56 PM |
[quote]OP: What is your favorite Lisa Hartman memory?
The vision of Clint Black's ample, muscled ass at his peak of appeal as he fucked her.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | October 8, 2021 7:03 PM |
She was bland then and now
by Anonymous | reply 70 | October 8, 2021 7:14 PM |
God Joe Penny was sex on a stick, wasn't he? But he never embraced being bald... sex with him would be limiting since you could never just grab his head, run your fingers through his hair...
by Anonymous | reply 71 | October 8, 2021 7:55 PM |
R64 this is my new reflective nostalgically looking out the window song
by Anonymous | reply 72 | October 8, 2021 7:58 PM |
R37 I see that Clint got the same "Asian Female" facelift that Kenny Rogers had. Lisa's work is much better.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | October 8, 2021 8:03 PM |
I wish she had sang a rendition of Fancy, of course, Reba OWNS this song, but LHB seems like she could put her own take on it.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | October 8, 2021 8:03 PM |
When she retired from acting.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | October 8, 2021 8:05 PM |
A version of Fancy was done by someone called Bobbie Gentry. Get into it.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | October 8, 2021 8:16 PM |
Her best albums (out of her 4) were "Hold On" and "Letterock" I guess as in Let her rock. Great songs from both albums, but her singing career went nowhere.
Yet, someone like Britney Spears, who has minimal vocal talent, made it big.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | October 9, 2021 5:16 AM |
Britney had hit material. Did Lisa?
by Anonymous | reply 78 | October 9, 2021 1:02 PM |
Why didn’t she have success with her music career? She’s a decent enough singer. Was it her material? Did she sleep with the wrong people?
by Anonymous | reply 79 | October 9, 2021 6:12 PM |
Well, she worked with people like Jeff Barry when they had mostly gone off the boil.
