Any fans here? She was electric as Carmen Jones, a pity she was not given better roles after that film. I loved Halle’s portrayal of her in Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. Tragic life.

She was great in CARMEN. She was in Selznick's SINCE YOU WENT AWAY, which had everyone, including his mistress, Jennifer Jones, playing opposite her cuckholded husband, Robert Taylor, in it. Dorothy played a departing WWII soldier's girl, and is mesmerizing in her tiny bit. It also starred noted black actress, and Oscar winner, Hattie McDaniel, and Hattie's GWTW castmate, Butterfly McQueen.
