These people won’t be satisfied until all historic gay men are posthumously diagnosed as anything but gay male.
He was a beautiful child.

Yes. And a trans woman of color.

Harper Lee clearly says that Dill is non-binary.

If he had a penis, he was a male

These people are ironically incredibly sexist. Any man or woman who doesn't conform to some 1950s parody definition of gender is now nonbinary!!

R5, exactly. Pink dresses and tea sets are for girls. Blue jeans and trucks are for boys.
So progressive.

And he threw a brick at me, R2.

R3 Where did you get that Harper Lee clearly states that? In the book Dill is a little boy “Goin’ on seven”.

R5 That's true. All the explanations are like "i'm non binary because i like to do this or that which is associated to the opposite sex" which is incredibly sexist and ridiculous.
It's like you were less man if you are not a cro magnon

Boo Radley was a trans women of color

The article barely even touches on non-binary. He was just a nelly queen. It happens. Headline writer going for clicks.

There wasn't anything remotely womanly about him. He was a gay man.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 14, 2021 8:04 PM |
They’ve been doing this. Remember the movie Scarlett Johansson wanted to produce about a lesbian mobster in the 1930s and everyone was like “raaah she was transgender, get a transgender man to play the role, representation counts” and because Scarlett was producing (funding) the movie she said she understands and then axed it lol.
That’s what’s happening here. Same with Marsha P. Johnson. People on Twitter will tell you being transgender didn’t exist back then or didn’t have a word for it so everyone who was androgynous or cross dressed was trans.

He was all man!
Ahem. Cough.
Sorry. Choked.
As I was saying, he was all mayonnaise.

He was a flumph.

No, but Holly Golightly was a drag queen.
