Who’s 100 or older and still alive? Nehemiah Persoff, Bab’s Papa from Yentl, is still alive at 102. He lost his wife of 70 years earlier this year. He still actively writes and paints.
Maybe not a "celebrity," but Virginia McLaurin, who danced in the White House with the Obamas, is 112 and 1/2.

I wrote to some on the Academy board to please give Marsha Hunt an honorary Oscar (Samuel L. Jackson? Didn’t he confess to letting his maid fill out his ballot?) or at least the Humanitarian Award. After being blacklisted in the 50s, she devoted herself to helping the homeless, erasing world hunger, was an early supporter of marriage equality, among many other worthy causes. At 104 later this year, one wonders what their priorities are. That said, Danny Glover is not a bad choice for the Herscholt but it seems more to be a reward for political activity, not humanitarian work.
How they let Irene Dunne die without an award is another black mark.

Wow, I didn't know he was still alive.
I recall having such a big crush on his son, Storm Field, also a meteorologist.
