I’m realizing now that there really are no miracle foods ,and it’s just a marketing gimmick.
Remember açaí? Quinoa? pomegranates? kale?
Sure, they can be part of a healthy diet, but there are no miracles among them.

What were you expecting these foods to do, that didn't happen?

Kale is, actually, nutrition-dense. So are red bell peppers, beans, etc.

The loaves and fishes were miracle food, as was manna.

Remember when blueberries were magic, with their anti-aging, antioxidant properties?
Remember when soy was going to feed the planet? And save the rain forest?
Remember rice cakes?

God OP. You’re a joke. Go back and eat your hungry man meals since that’s what this is all about.

I find they only perform 'miracles' if you're being SUPER strict, making sure it's all alkaline, etc. And eating JUST these sorts of foods (vegan, nutrient dense, clean, whatever you want to call it).
Because if you eat a regular person's diet with a few pomegranates or bowls of quinoa, their nutritional benefit is affected by the body having to digest other, more processed foods etc. The body takes a long time to flush out certain things, especially if it's become accustomed to those healthy foods.

Garlic is the only magic food I know of.

Slow learner, aren't you, OP?

Nothing is a “miracle” or “superfood” but some foods do have more nutritional value than others.

r10 Never heard of it.

Raw fermented, unpasteurized vegetables are a miracle food: sauerkraut, kimchee, lacto-fermented pickles etc.
Moderns diets deficient in these wild probiotics are a major contributor to most of our most pressing endemic health issues.
