Sterling Holloway Is JUST AWFUL

I loved Sterling Holloway.

Yeah, and dat HAIR!

He seemed very gay in a 1951 appearance on The Fred Waring Show.

He was always awful and ruined everything he was in. He even fucked up an old episode of Superman with George Reeves.

I avoid him as much as possible.

R8, speaking of Joan Blondell, Sterling Holloway appeared with her and William Demarest in an episode of classic 'Twilight Zone' called 'What's In The Box' (Season Five, Episode 24).

This episode was the first time I'd ever seen what he looked like. Gay as hell, IMO.

He had a younger lover who he adopted and who inherited his estate.

The usual "didn't want to upset my stable life to get married to a woman" reason.

Voicing all those animated films isn't a bad legacy. But what strikes me is the resemblance to Harpo Marx, who never uttered a word on screen.

He's fine doing voice work, hard to watch when onscreen. Weird affect and mannerisms.
