WTF is my point? It's a somewhat amusing story (or not) about an actor. My friend was coy about revealing her source's name, but I think I figured it out from what she told me.

R19 - the way my friend told it, moral support. The castmate was having an anxiety attack the day of the audition and RDJ stayed with him until he calmed down.

I also assume it was the set of Weird Science, because there were multiple male castmates RDJ's age and Back to School and Less Than Zero had fewer featured actors overall.

Ilan Mitchell-Smith was only 15 at the time and the anecdote makes it sound like someone RDJr's age or maybe a little older.

All the clues point directly to Robert Rusler. It looked like he'd have a promising movie career, but after Nightmare on Elm Street 2, his movie career essentially petered out and he appeared sporadically, mainly on television. So it all makes sense.

But is Rusler openly bisexual? I don't think I've ever heard any gay gossip about him.

I worked at a high-end chain hotel. RDJ was a guest. He, along with an all-male entourage, came into the hotel bar. There were no older guys in the entourage. It didn't look like a business meeting. RDJ was loud and rude - acting like a "celebrity." (Yes, I know he is a celebrity.) I do think he's gay.

For comparison, U2 also stayed at the hotel. Their little entourage consisted of women.

When RDJ filmed U.S. Marshalls in Chicago, he took up with a female stripper who lived on the same floor as a (gay) friend in a Gold Coast building. I never saw him and my friend never mentioned that he pinged. He did say that stripper was major coke fiend and he'd run into them high in the hallway.

Bill Paxton was good-looking and a good comic actor but he played Chet as such a vile human being I did not find him sexy. Too close to the sort of people who beat up gay boys. At one point he actually bashes one of the girls, which was really kind of shocking at the time and in context.

Paxton was gorgeous.

The fact that RDS got RDJ hooked on drugs at the age of six is one of the most horrific things I've heard of in terms of child neglect.

I saw a documentary where they are talking to RDS with RDJ right next to him and someone asks RDS "did you think you would lose him?" and RDS responds "many times." And he didn't say it with a lump in his throat. He said it as if his son was a set of car keys. RDJ laughed it off, but there was a look of pain on his face while he did so.

Actually, if the person has no other web presence than a Facebook, the use of Facebook as a source is valid confirmation of a face. However you must also be able to validate that the person is the one connected with the Facebook. I can see one of you people, no doubt here, keeps playing "tug-of-war" and deleting the info only to have it undone by some other Wikipedia mod.

That information is currently absent. I would undo it myself as another long-time Wikipedia contributor with an ancient account BUT I don't see that information currently on his Facebook, furthermore he seemed to go out of his way in an interview in 2019 to state that he, at the least, wasn't gay. So I'm going to ignore it and let it stay edited/removed.
