Michelle Pfeiffer's Pacific Palisades home just sold for around $25million tasteful friends
by Anonymous | reply 88 | April 22, 2022 6:44 AM |
Michelle has old lady skin and hair
by Anonymous | reply 1 | August 21, 2021 12:04 AM |
So many stars unloading their palatial homes. Don't they have any sentimental value? Where are they going?
I have pets buried in my backyard; if I moved I'd feel like I was abandoning them.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | August 21, 2021 12:08 AM |
They’re just flipping houses. I believe this is the second one they did. It’s not really their home.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 21, 2021 12:08 AM |
R3, two things, this isn’t their house, they moved back to Hollywood after their kids left the house and they were returning to work full-time. They were living in a very rural area outside of Tinseltown.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 21, 2021 12:09 AM |
Are they separating? Th article says they are selling several properties.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | August 21, 2021 12:10 AM |
Michelle looks stunning as always. He must have a huge dick to manage to catch her.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | August 21, 2021 12:11 AM |
No, r5. They’re flipping properties.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 21, 2021 12:11 AM |
David always looks sad . His eyes are despondent
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 21, 2021 12:13 AM |
They’re probably dumping a property that’s very expensive to keep at the top of the market. They’re getting older and the taxes on this are probably enormous. It’s smart to do it now. They more or less broke even, that’s about the best they can expect these days. If they waited, they’d be stuck with a huge expense and no buyers.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 21, 2021 12:18 AM |
it is top of the market. People are unloading homes because they can get the highest price ever right now. It going to crash, again.
BTW, it's nice.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | August 21, 2021 12:19 AM |
it's just real estate, calm down . She looks like shit R6, she's the lucky one, he looks a solid 15 years younger than she. What's your problem ? are you a lez or something ? are you blind ?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | August 21, 2021 12:21 AM |
It’s just a little bit of a fixer upper. Seriously… it’s cold. Beautiful but cold.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | August 21, 2021 12:22 AM |
Boring, nouveau riche. She's from Santa Ana...
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 21, 2021 12:22 AM |
[quote]Michelle looks stunning as always. He must have a huge dick to manage to catch her.
I think it was probably more about his leverage in Hollywood and money.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | August 21, 2021 12:22 AM |
Who would want to live in the Palisades when they could live in Malibu?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 21, 2021 12:23 AM |
R11, did you actually look at the photos posted?? He’s got a horse face and scraggly white hair. She looks great.

what THE FUCK is that about? Puts me right off. NO SALE
by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 21, 2021 12:24 AM |
R16 she looks old and frail
by Anonymous | reply 18 | August 21, 2021 12:25 AM |
I like the kitchen but the rest of the house has too many sharp edges to be relaxing.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 21, 2021 12:27 AM |
R2 The rich are cashing in before society melts. Believe me, they know something that we don't.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 21, 2021 12:27 AM |
I can never open Daily Fail links bc the page loads so slow. Therefore, this tasteful friend will have to reserve judgment.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | August 21, 2021 12:27 AM |
R18, are you Helen Keller? Get some glasses.
Geez I’m no fan of either of these two, but I have eyes.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | August 21, 2021 12:28 AM |
R2 has animal skeleton abandonment anxiety. Wow.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | August 21, 2021 12:29 AM |
R22 I have eyes, and I see a frail elderly woman, with a horrible nose job and old lady's hair. She probably has osteoporosis already
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 21, 2021 12:33 AM |
Ok, boomer @R24.
Damn I hate resorting to that.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 21, 2021 12:34 AM |

[quote]what THE FUCK is that about? Puts me right off. NO SALE
Why? Every bedroom is a suite, plus a gym bath, a pool bath, an office bath, multiple half baths for parties, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 21, 2021 12:45 AM |
Looks like an ugly, dated hotel.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 21, 2021 12:45 AM |
Michelle has always looked frail thin . I never got a content vibe from her . Very tightly guarded

Really r26? Really? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 21, 2021 12:52 AM |
If society melts R20, their millions in cash will be worthless.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 21, 2021 12:59 AM |
R31, watch and see what they invest in next. If I were them, I’d sell it, move someplace else cheaper or to a smaller place, and buy a few high end apartment buildings. At least you’re making money instead of spending it.

Michelle was at her hottest in Grease 2 . She lost so much weight in Scarface .
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 21, 2021 1:19 AM |
I think the Los Angeles luxury home market is going to implode. Intelligent people like Michelle and David are selling while imbeciles like "The Weeknd" are buying at the very tippy-top of the market.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 21, 2021 1:26 AM |
R35, I’m not sure. When is the last time Michelle and David had a hit show/movie? Also, that’s kind of racist—the two white people are smart but the black guy isn’t?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | August 21, 2021 1:29 AM |
r15 some people don't want to deal with the traffic and the killer roads in Malibu
by Anonymous | reply 37 | August 21, 2021 1:41 AM |
Michelle is exactly the same age as Madonna but she has a much better plastic surgeon.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | August 21, 2021 1:43 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 39 | August 21, 2021 1:44 AM |
Michelle hasn't been on my radar for ages - what is she even doing these days?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | August 21, 2021 1:50 AM |
Since I've been on DL, I seem to have seen dozens and dozens of movie/TV stars selling their mansions. Is it just an investment thing with them? Or are there just a gazillion actors?
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 21, 2021 2:04 AM |
I built a place that overlooks Michelle Pfeffer's house, with my telescope I can see her titties.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 21, 2021 2:12 AM |
Well, if nothing else it's an homage to beige.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 21, 2021 2:15 AM |
Michelle has been trying for the past ten years for a comeback, but she never gets any traction.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | August 21, 2021 2:16 AM |
Michelle was first choice for Silence of the Lambs. She said she turned it down due to subject matter . I bet she secretly regrets big time
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 21, 2021 2:18 AM |
I like Michelle but she would've been all wrong for Clarice Starling. Jodie Foster took that role and owned it.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 21, 2021 2:23 AM |
R12- All of the photos are renderings. Photoshop. Faux. CGI. Not real.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 22, 2021 2:36 AM |
I agree r48. Clarice has to be driven and haunted. Pfeiffer would also be too pretty. Women who look like her don't join the FBI.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | August 22, 2021 4:50 AM |
True, r48. A woman who looked like Michelle Pfeiffer never would've been cast off and had a rough time of anything. Jodie Foster, oh yes you could totally believe she had it tough in her life.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | August 22, 2021 5:06 AM |
The house is boring. Maybe they don’t need such a big place anymore.
I think they both look good for their age. Michelle maybe doesn’t need to work. She might be pickier now and seems to have chosen good roles.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | August 22, 2021 5:46 AM |
where do they live?
by Anonymous | reply 51 | August 22, 2021 5:49 AM |
If they bought it to flip why'd they sell so quickly with so little a profit margin?
the housing market in LA is hot. Seems like they wanted to get rid of it.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | August 22, 2021 5:52 AM |
They are not losing money on this. My guess is the hubby was working there and he wanted to sell it. There are a lot of writers -producer types in that area. PP is a little Hollywood suburban area. He wanted to be there, now he does not want to be there.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | August 22, 2021 5:58 AM |
They seem to be selling lots of properties if you read the whole article. Divorcing?
by Anonymous | reply 54 | August 22, 2021 6:07 AM |
i just read that. Divorcing? Selling at the top of the market? Who knows? Where do they live?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 22, 2021 6:09 AM |
They are obviously separating. They are selling their entire real estate portfolio. Couples only do that if they are broke or separating.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | August 22, 2021 6:26 AM |
they are?
by Anonymous | reply 57 | August 22, 2021 6:28 AM |
I don't like men who do not like wise women. She hot too. I wanted to think he was a nice guy. What happened?
by Anonymous | reply 58 | August 22, 2021 6:29 AM |
Bought the house in Jan 2020, selling a year and a half later.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | August 22, 2021 1:32 PM |
Right, r59. Not sure what all the talk of sentimentality is when they didn't live there very long.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | August 22, 2021 1:41 PM |
She's beautiful still. He's cute, but raggedy looking.
That house is beautiful but why so bland? I think someone said this, but it looks like they probably never even spent a night there. It has that hotel vibe where everything is so perfectly placed for these photos.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | August 22, 2021 1:50 PM |
The house is tasteful, but it also is so big and open that every part of it feels like a luxury hotel to me. That's great if you want to be the sole residents of a hotel, but I'm poor and therefore more comfortable in a more intimate space. Absolutely love how the living room opens to the outside, but it looks like a space suited to business receptions more than somewhere to bum around and relax.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | August 22, 2021 1:58 PM |
R45 That's a movie I never connected with. I don't think it's that great, just grotesque for the sake of being shocking. Foster was fine, Hopkins was hammy, lamps made of human skin is too far for me, and the public'a interpretation of it as a great film really baffles me. I was young when it came out and I assume the zeitgeist in the moment is what made people get all worked into a tizzy over it. I don't get why people always want to make heroes out of serial killers, either.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | August 22, 2021 2:03 PM |
She looks like an Olsen twin in r33 pic... or perhaps Nancy Reagan with the big head, tiny skinny body
by Anonymous | reply 64 | August 22, 2021 2:37 PM |
She's stunning. He's somewhat handsome.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | August 22, 2021 2:43 PM |
Michelle Pfeiffer left Hollywood to raise her children and came back later to restart her career and got tons of press for looking so youthful and stunning. She obviously had a lot of physical maintenance during her downtime. I think she looked better than ever during this period; she was pretty when she was young, but in her 40s, she was stunningly beautiful in my opinion. But I guess I am a weirdo in that I often think women look most attractive just when faint smile lines begin to appear in their late 30s/early 40s and they've lost babyfat from their faces. (The same goes for Madonna, Tori Amos and others.) This is probably why I am particularly revolted by the liquid facelift thing that makes women's faces so full they look infected.
Anyway, Pfeiffer has aged since then and I think she looks absolutely amazing. Not only because she is still pretty, but because she looks like a fucking human being. I would expect someone like her, so renowned for her beauty, would be the type to go full Nicole Kidman, but she hasn't. Since her career comeback, she has slowly aged, gracefully, with obvious minor maintenance but she looks like an older version of herself, not like a medical mystery.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | August 22, 2021 2:49 PM |
No, R45, she did not regret turning down Silence of the Lambs; she found the script repellent and it really is a grotesque movie. She and David had been living in Northern California (Woodside, to be precise) for several years before selling that house for $22 million in 2019. They also unloaded another, smaller house in the Palisades last year to the owner of the Houston Astros for around $10 million. I think they still have a big compound somewhere up in British Columbia.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | August 22, 2021 2:54 PM |
Silence of the Lambs is a classic. Just because you're squeamish over the subject matter doesn't mean it's not a great film.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | August 22, 2021 4:31 PM |
Well said R66. I enjoyed reading your post. It's nice to know there are people out there who acknowledge and appreciate the beauty of an older woman.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | August 22, 2021 4:57 PM |
Someone up thread said all the pics are renderings and not the actual interior with their furnishings. If that is what we tasteful friends have been critiquing all these years with celebrity real estate listings, I will feel duped!
by Anonymous | reply 70 | August 22, 2021 7:13 PM |
Michelle thought Silence of the Lambs was disgusting and wanted no part in a film like that.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | August 24, 2021 3:09 AM |
Glad Michelle turned it down. Jodie Foster made that movie so much more than Michelle ever could have.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | August 24, 2021 3:18 AM |
Michelle has made some bad choices
by Anonymous | reply 73 | August 24, 2021 3:33 AM |
These are investments and not homes.
The decor is in keeping with nearly every other Southern California house of it's size and price range.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | August 24, 2021 7:04 AM |
It's a tacky piece of shit compared to our little place up in Montecito.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | August 24, 2021 7:05 AM |
Maybe they need to raise money. French Exit is available for 99 cents. It’s terrible.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | August 24, 2021 7:14 AM |
Michelle was wonderful as the narcissistic mother in the film 'White Oleander.' The role seemed to come so naturally to her.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | August 24, 2021 7:40 AM |
Thats an expensive McMansion. And bland bland bland. Like a hotel as others have said.
she does look great for her age though, and he doesnt look too bad either
by Anonymous | reply 78 | August 24, 2021 7:59 AM |
I don't think it is their furnishings. Look at the "books" in the living room, they're all identical and artfully placed as objects not reading material.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | August 24, 2021 8:20 AM |
Why drop 20+ million on a home and sell it a year and a half later?
Their money is likely more from David E. Kelley than Michelle. I doubt they're hurting.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | August 24, 2021 8:45 AM |
Some people have way too much money.

[quote] Why drop 20+ million on a home and sell it a year and a half later?
Because this is how filthy rich people get filthier richer.
They bought the house for $22.5 million and just sold it for $25 million. How? By putting it on the market with "MICHELLE PFEIFFER'S HOUSE" as the headline and hiking up the price a couple million.
That extra $2 million will buy a lot of facial fillers for her and a lot of discreet side action for him.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | August 25, 2021 10:50 PM |
r85 the article at op says with taxes and upkeep they probably made no profit on the house.
