Brando, Holden, Lancaster, Cooper, Power, et. al. were all extraordinary looking in their youth but it's not how they're remembered for the most part.

There are very few men who lived long lives (and (more or less) kept up their looks: Paul Newman, Tab Hunter and Cary Grant come to mind.

I did however find Brando sexy particularly in “streetcar” but he was so cute in “the men” too, the only thing that ruined was sometimes his voice and his way of talking.
