I recently was thinking to myself in the shower, after watching Arthur memes, 'God, the producers of this show have intentionally designed it for adults in the end'.

Guess I spoke too soon and PBS finally caught up with 'em. This show would've become extremely boring if it were both totally PC and typecast, akin to what happened with 'SpongeBob'. I wouldn't be surprised if there is an animation mass exodus, of constant old-line shows from the 90s coming soon. Watch out Simpsons, Spongebob, Family Guy etc.. I'd trade all this crap for another season of Ren & Stimpy!

The most disturbing thing in all this is one of the first books was actually called Arthur’s Nose, where he’s picked on for his big nose and sees a Rhinoplastologiist about having it fixed- and doesn’t!
