I just bought an air popper popcorn maker!

Jealous, bitches?

I know you are.

I'm going to pop some popcorn (sans oil), and drizzle melted butter all over it.

YUMMERS!

No, I am not.

Only trashy, fat slobs eat popcorn these days.

by Anonymousreply 1July 16, 2021 5:44 PM

You're an idiot, R1.

Popcorn is one of the healthiest, low-calorie snacks out there.

by Anonymousreply 2July 16, 2021 5:45 PM

r1 is absolutely correct. I eat a ton of popcorn and make it in a silicone thingy. I add freshly grated parmesan

Carbs!

by Anonymousreply 4July 16, 2021 5:58 PM

No OP I'm NOT jealous because I have an air-popper, too and I fucking love it.

Don't forget to pick up some intradental picks next time you go out, though.

r3 I have this one -- same concept. It works pretty well--I use it a lot.

r6, aren't they great? popcorn is my second favorite snack.

by Anonymousreply 7July 16, 2021 6:05 PM

I had one but it took up too much room in my kitchen so I took it to the office (where it's rarely used). Remember when they cautioned against eating popcorn during the early days of Covid because it could lead to tooth problems and it was hard getting into the dentist? Of course I listened to that nonsense because times were so scary.

by Anonymousreply 8July 16, 2021 6:11 PM

It's the best $15-20 investment a fat whore could make.

How many bowls of fresh hot popcorn can an air popper make in its lifetime? I stocked up on bags of kernels during peak covid freakout because they took up relatively little space compared to other, lesser snacks; instead, I avoided ladders and slippery floors.

There's just no other snack purchase with such a great return on investment, unless there's a SweetTart Ropes tree out there somewhere.

by Anonymousreply 9July 16, 2021 6:58 PM

Sure, Rose…very healthy as you pour melted butter all over it. Don’t forget a box of salt too.

by Anonymousreply 10July 16, 2021 7:01 PM

You don't have to use butter, you can give it a couple quick sprays with Pam, before salting it, but I'm sure you'll bitch about that too, R10!

Anyway, no need for false indignation, we know you're fat, too.

by Anonymousreply 11July 16, 2021 7:09 PM

Do you know me r10? I literally use a box of salt

You really know nothing about calories, do you R10?

Air popped popcorn + salt has next to nothing in calories.

Plus, it fills you up.

It really is an excellent snack food.

And no one is forcing you to add butter.

by Anonymousreply 13July 16, 2021 8:57 PM

r13 Lots of fiber, too.

by Anonymousreply 14July 16, 2021 9:08 PM

GMO

by Anonymousreply 15July 16, 2021 9:11 PM

r15 Please cite any evidence that GMO is harmful to health in any way.

by Anonymousreply 16July 16, 2021 9:36 PM

I can't, R16. They haven't done human trials, but the test on animals fed GMO feed aren't good.

Popcorn isn't GMO R15 R17. You don't know your corn.

Popcorn is a distinct type of corn, very different from Big Corn.

So getchu a big bowl out of the cupboard and enjoy you some popcorn.

by Anonymousreply 21July 17, 2021 3:11 AM

r17 Evidence, please. Humans eat GMO food on a daily basis with no apparent ill effects.

by Anonymousreply 22July 17, 2021 3:16 AM

You type fat, OP.
