What do you think of him? I think he's an interesting, nice guy, but I also think he has exaggerated and contradicted himself about A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2. You know, like how much of an effect it had on his overall career. He also claims he hadn't talked about the movie since the release (until the Never Sleep Again documentary). Yet, he did an interview with a Nightmare fan website in the early 2000s. It's weird how a fan found him, but not the producers of that first DVD documentary in 1999 (in a 2010 podcast interview, Mark claims that they didn't try hard enough).
Actor Mark Patton

A linked picture would’ve been nice. I don’t know him!

Until he mentioned Nightmare on Elm Street, I thought OP was taking about Will Patton. This guy:

Yeah, Will Patton is sexy as fuck.

Yeah I doubt it had much of an effect on his career. Out of eight movies and countless actors, only three went on to have a major career (Johnny Depp, Laurence Fishburne and Patricia Arquette) and only one of them was in the lead role.

He needs to move on past his grievances.

He's very narcissistic (even by actor standards) but seems pretty nice - at least when he doesn't feel slighted about something.

One thing I find interesting is that he claims gays in Hollywood are actually more homophobic than the straights,.

Don't cast such a wide net. Just apply it to yourself. You are a homophobic, racist troll. Trolling is the only reason you come to this site.

He had a string of successes early on: a hit Broadway play and starring in a major motion picture. The only way to go was down.

R12 Well maybe if he had gone down on the right person . . .

He had an interesting post-Hollywood life. I think he was a carpenter (or something similar) and directed plays on Broadway. I think he left the US and moved to Mexico after Dubya was re-elected. He either became the owner or manager of a store down there. Later, domestic partners with a Latino man. They live in a rain forest or something.
