I never thought his face was all that, frankly. He was handsome when younger, but blandly and generically so. He did have that slim body with some nice definition. Hard to maintain that as a man ages.

Looks must run in this family. She was a big (hips & tall) woman but very beautiful, lovely and one of the most charming actresses that ever came out of MGM.

I’ll even watch her 50’s and 60’s stuff even though it pales in comparison to the 40’s movies.

“Mrs. Parkington” was on not too long ago and it was so nice to see it again. I didn’t think Agnes Moorehead necessarily deserved a Golden Globe or an Oscar nomination but I kind of wish she had one so she would have one. I think she had a pretty good shot the year of “hush-hush sweet Charlotte” as well.

He always seemed to be battling against his “pretty boy” image. I think he and travis fimmel and other models turned actors think this is necessary to be taken seriously. I’m not sure what I think of dornan, he’s not very interesting in interviews and so far I haven’t really enjoyed any of his movies although I hear ‘the fall’ and ‘anthropoid’ are good.
