Hairstylists can’t get over it but Gen Z had embraced them.
A few of my students started the year with them. They ended the year with normal hair because even their peers thought they looked ridiculous.

Dump never got over it; he just combs it forward.

Like they ever were out .

Now everyone is going to look like a bitch dyke.
I saw two young guys sporting them yesterday. The place is trendy. I couldn’t believe people are dying to look like hillbilly trash again. A friend of mine who does hair in an upscale hair salon was horrified by all the men coming in asking for it. She tried talking them out of it.

It's because we're a society in decline

Hideous.

The guy in the op's link actually looks kind of hot.
Then again, a hot guy with a bad haircut is still a hot guy.

I follow lots of young guys on Twitter (perv) and I haven't seen any sign of mullets. Everyone has shaved sides and then wild do's on top.

Gen X fashion designer, Hedi Slimane, is inspired by the 1980's mullet.

A mullet, a Trans Am, ciggies and tats. Heaven.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 25, 2021 11:32 PM |
I hear that the hairstyle has been gaining in popularity among younger Australians.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 25, 2021 11:46 PM |
No. Just no. And I’m a guy who generally dates guys with long hair and tattoos. But the mullet is not an acceptable hair style under any circumstance (excluding documentaries or movies about the 80’s).

Eldergays are so gross and behind the time. Go back to your tea dance gramps, nobody cares what you want to say about youth fashion nowadays. I mean y'all not even youthful any longer.

Mullets are gross and so are fat Zoomers
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 26, 2021 12:04 AM |
It's so weird to me how so many women try to look as ugly as possible nowadays. Intentionally getting septum piercings, mullets, the half-shaved haircut, etc. It's like they are screaming "I don't care what you think of me, PLEASE LOVE ME and yes, I WAS MOLESTED by my FATHER!!!!!".
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 26, 2021 12:08 AM |
I can’t believe his stupid fangirls are begging him to get the haircut..aughh!
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 26, 2021 12:11 AM |
I wish I could grow the mullet I used to have when I was young. I didnt have a TransAm, but I wanted one (still do) but an old Ford LTD. It was loud, fast and had grey and black primer, I did so many guys in the back seat of that thing
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 26, 2021 12:29 AM |
Obviously, it's because we've been cutting our own hair for a year and it's hard to cut the back.
r19, You're not wrong but I have the opposite question. What are you kids doing here? Why aren't you Ticktocking and VR Griniding and Instawhoring, jerking off under a red light while dumping ice on your head and taking picture of your avocado toast? Is this shitty place filled with bitter old queens talking about Sondheim and mullets so interesting to you? Why are you even talking to us? To tell your parole office about your volunteer work with the elderly?

Young gays can be so stupid. Go back to wearing your dress, little girl. And don't forget your non-binary panties.

That hairstyle is so ugly 😲

As usual, they're only a year behind the trend.

Who is that at R22.
Omg he's GORGEOUS!!!

R29 a clean-cut old soul who the girls are obsessed over because he is a rare breed in gen z.

Well, at least it's the antithesis of that ghastly center part hairdo where the hair doesn't look like it's been shampooed since 2005. And now, if Sarah Jessica Parker, Madonna, and J-Lo want to stay looking young they need to embrace this look.

I currently have one since it's been so difficult arranging a haircut, until recently. I can trim the hair around my face, but I can no longer get to the back of my neck after having shoulder surgery. My hair actually got caught in the car door today, and my brother told me he reminded me of Tim Conway on The Carol Burnett Show. I can't believe that it's taken this long for me to grow my hair out.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 31, 2021 1:21 AM |
I’d like to grow my hair one length - Richard Branson style. Like He-Man without the bangs.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | May 31, 2021 1:50 AM |
Just growing your hair a little longer in back doesn't constitute a true mullet. No.
