I met Joan once, and she was just fabulous. Someone wanted to take a picture of the two of us, and I was trying to be respectful by not glomming on to her. She was all, “ come closer, I won’t bite!” and pulled me to her. She was a tiny little thing and I didn’t want to break her so I didn’t hold her tightly! I loved her.
