Her maiden name was Liberto so I suspect most people assumed she had some kind of Spanish or Italian ancestry.

Her great great grandmother was half black and a slave, so presumably some of her great great great grandparents were black and probably slaves as well. I want to say I read somewhere that she later found out she had black ancestry, maybe in an article about her trying to save the bench that Johnny had carved "Johnny Loves Vivian" on decades ago, but I can't find that right now.

Possibly, although I'm almost entirely Northern European, the exception is 1% Eastern European Jew, but I am told I look like a white skinned black by black people. I do have the facial features of a black person more than I do a traditional Nordic person. . It's odd, but it exists.
